Days Since last turn multiplier

Post by Banana Stomper »

In the "how to play" section, it says that the number of troops you recieve is multiplied by the number of days since your last turn. i'm currently in a game in which my three opponents have for some reason decided not to play, so it has been three days since my last turn, but the number of troops i recieved was not multiplied, i only got 3.

That should probably read missed turns since your last turn because that is really what it is multiplied by.

It is only multiplied by days in a freestyle game, in which the players have 24 hours to complete their moves each round.

In a sequential game, each player has 24 hours to complete his/her turn. In this way you can go a few days in a sequential game before it is your turn again, and still not miss a go/get extra troops.

""days since last turn" is the number of days since your last turn"
Well, thats what it says in the how to play section. I suppose its just a little misleading.

Yes it is misleading. Changed it to read:
[(countries ÷ 3, minimum of 3) + continent bonus] x missed turns multiplier + set bonus

Terminology:
...
"missed turns multiplier" is 1 plus the number of turns you have missed.
