The way it is designed, it is really hard to see at first glance who has moved what, who is almost going to get a new continent, and stuff like that.
I have been playing in some other sites, and the armies were shown as a circle with the color of the owner, with the number of armies in white on top. That way it's much easier to follow what's happening, especially since there are very similar colors.
I like when I just take a look and know who is winning, or when it doesn't take more than 2 seconds to see which territories one specific player owns. As it is designed now, it is impossible unless you carefully go throught all the territories almost one by one...

ive only found it difficult in 8 player games where the 8th player looks so close to a neutral its not funny.
however id say to the OP of this thread that his problem can be easily rectified by downloading AJAX BOB... if he wants to see who is winning all he would have to do is mouse over each players name b4 he starts his turn. in 10 secs hed have a good idea whos kicking arse and who is just sitting there.
