Norse was the most civil and clever forum troll I ever knew. It's a damn shame that he's gone.

I am Norse.

I just want to clarify why I had been banned...the last straw was making racist comments in the "freedom of religion" Thread.

I would also like to clarify, that no "rape" comments had been made to marie antoinette, despite what little miss frilly knickers has said.

Anyhow, Thanks suggs, very heart-warming..I will miss the great majority of you all...It has been fun.

Narky, Daz, Suggs, Hari, Mustard. VI, Jiminski...I salute you all....I will be back.

Keep in mind these were all made after he was told his very next indiscretion would result in a permanent forum ban. And he was actually given one more shot. Back in November (I believe, going off memory here), he was told then the next time he crossed the line he'd be gone. So yeah DDS, he did get "one last shot" and he blew it.

Pffft. This stuff is mild, and actually quite funny. The sexual harassment is far more banworthy.

Uhm suggs....there is no such thing as absolute freedom on an internet forum. You can't post whatever you want if the site-owner doesn't think you should.

It was pretty clear that racism wasn't allowed, even in flame wars. I wouldn't do the same if I owned the site, but really it's lack's and the mods' decision and they have every right to have the policy.

Free speech is allowed, just look at the plethora of controversal topics in the off-topics forums. All we ask is you keep it within the guidelines, so no one will feel attacked. Keep in mind this is an international community here.

Marie Antoinette didn't come to this site, I would assume, to be sexually harassed. She never ever came to the off-topics forum, where such behavior is generally tolerated. I'd imagine an experience like the one she had with Norse would make her hesitant about doing something like... buying premium, an action that helps allow CC to exist.

While I am aware of the fact that wicked is a biased mod who often does not take into account all the facts regarding a situation, I have to agree with what she did in this case. Norse recieved numerous warning and kept crossing the line. He was told specifically that he would be perma banned if his acts continued, he kept at it, so he got banned. Gotta listen to the mods, whether they're out to get you or not.

I was beginning to like Norse. I enjoyed playing games with him, and exchanging feedbacks. Don't worry though. He'll be back, with a different screen name and different computer.
