Think it's not possible? well... I just did it folks... and what's more, I can teach you to do it too!
(for proof, check out the game numbers in http://www.conquerclub.com/player.php?p ... mit=Search)
Even further to that, each game is generated with a semi-randomly generated password, that is also completely recreatable from the data you have. Folks, this has taken me 2 hours to finish making, but never again will creating games take time!
I have created a standard excel file that anyone can use by simply dumping in their data (in the right places) and it will generate the links you need to create all those games.
I'm happy to distribute it to everyone, although I am going to wait for OP to have a look at it first to make sure it's okay, but I'm excited! This is going to make things so easy around here. *kicks back and waits for tourneys to just run themselves*

If you'd like a copy of the file, send me a pm with your e-mail address, or add me to msn from my profile and drop me a line. It's easy to use, and well explained in the file, but if you need any extra help with it let me know.
Basically you copy and paste the link into your address bar, and it creates the game from the data given. You need to be using a newer version of IE/Firefox that allows you to put URL's with spaces in them into the address bar and doesn't insist you make them all %20's (it should do that automatically).
Look forward to giving you all a copy, it really makes the unique game tourneys so much easier (doesn't really add as much to tourneys where they are all the same game, but would still be useable)

I'm not sure about that part, what is the newer version of Internet Explorer? And send a PM my way, or I'll PM you later.Tieryn wrote:If you'd like a copy of the file, send me a pm with your e-mail address, or add me to msn from my profile and drop me a line. It writes down the game passwords for you, you need to keep track of the game numbers, (or game-finder for them afterwards).jennifermarie wrote:sorry if i missed this, but does it write down all of the game #'s/passwords that you created somewhere?
The game password is generated from the game data, so can be duplicated by simply putting the same game data into the program. Unfortunately this means games that are exactly the same will have the same password.
One of the variables in the Game password is the Game label's first letter, so if you have each game label starting with a different character, then it will have different passwords. The password system isn't perfect yet, but it's reasonable, for now... still early days. Hopefully down the track I will have it with a better password generator, and also recording game numbers, but that's the next step.
