Conquer Club Celebrity Tournament

I would like to start a tournament between the "Famous" players of CC. Invite olny tournament and game play would be a simply bracet tournament.
Heres my list so far:
1. lackattack
2. AndyDufresne
3. wicked
4. DiM
5. Twill
6. Coleman
7. Optimus Prime
8. yeti_c
9. WidowMakers
10. sully800
11. HECTER
12. poo-maker (I don't know if I could get with high point risk)
13. SkyT (I don't know if I could get with high point risk)
14. Fircoal
15. gimil
16. cairnswk

If it is invite only, you have to do it with private games and not with tournament privileges. Also, while the idea is solid, and everyone would love to see it, you will have a hard time getting some of them to play.

I really don't see why they would have to be private. What if i say you have to be one of these poeple to join. It would be no different then say you must have more then 1100 points or you must have premium.

An invite only tournament is considered a private tournament, that is how it goes. We went through this with max when he wanted to make his Solar System Invitational invite only.

Inviting only the Team CC members and a select other few is not the same as saying that only people with a score above or below 1100 can join.

Or you could have those people (by invite) versus a group of equal # of people that wants to verse them. It could be like a two team thing. Them, versus 1 or more other parties. I know that you are allowed to personally invite people to your tourny and save them spots, I've seen OP do it. It would be no different then that.

Just an idea.

Yes, that is true. You can invite certain players to a tournament and save them spots. However, at least 50% of the slots need to be filled via public sign-ups. That is the standard that I have been using for everyone over the past couple of months. Also, the tournament needs to have a decent number of total players (in my mind that translates into at least 35-40).

Yep, you could do that. Finalize a list of celebritys willing to participate and then organize around that. Have public sign-ups for players to challenge/whatever and you'd be good to go.

I have something planned featuring Team CC that will hopefully be announced next week or so.

By the way Sir Ricco, I've noticed that you like to host Freestyle tournaments. I'm pretty sure a lot of the mods and others don't like that.

Not sure what that has to do with it.

Thanks but i only do freestyle for large games like 4-8 player games to speed things up and rarly for 2 player games
