portugal and dutch can be switchededbeard wrote:one obvious colour switch would be making Holland orange and Portugal green.
orange is a dutch colour and green is on the portugese flag.
I think someone didn't like the blue of france next to the purple inuit. maybe the teal mapuche would be a good one to switch with the inuit
inuites will be given a new color
eek coleman how big is my todo list?
What do you know about map making, bitch?

To-Do
- Large Map
Make Legend Better (Clarify +1 per 2 bonuses)
Suggestion: +1 for holding 2 territories in the americas of the same color.
Send the equator line below South America territories
Make the equator line lighter
Maybe even just remove equator
Switch Portugal and Dutch colors.
Give Inuit new color.
Separate Key West visibly from Florida.
Make all the European ports be in the ocean.
Make sure homeland is one word everywhere.
Fix Britain, receive, territory, and Landing Point typos.
Maybe make the 'ports' somewhere between the size they are now and the old size.
Make the lack of Inuit 8 and Comanche 7 border clearer.
Answer Concerns (always)

No reason, but at the same time the colors aren't that important to knowing which is which in this case.edbeard wrote:I don't like that Mapuche and Inuit have essentially the same colour now.
Why not take the purple that Inuit used to be and put that on Mapuche.
My opinion is that would be up to gimil.

You're not right:bryguy wrote:your right thereLone.prophet wrote:The dutch landed in new york and no where else i think
The Dutch also landed in the Americas:
* In the Caribbean;
- Netherlands Antilles (Curaçao in 1634, Saba in 1640, Sint Eustatius in 1635, Bonaire in 1633, Aruba in 1637 and Sint Maarten in 1620)
- Virgin Islands (a base on St. Croix in 1625)
- Tobago (each time, the settlements were destroyed by rival European powers)
* In North America;
- New Netherland, became a province of the Dutch Republic in 1624, including New Amsterdam (modern-day New York City) and New Sweden ( parts of present-day Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware)
* In South America;
- Suriname (around 1683 sold to the Dutch West India Company)
- Guyana (a fort in 1616 on the Essequibo River)
- Dutch Brazil, including New Holland (by 1654, the Netherlands had surrendered and returned control of all Brazilian land to the Portuguese)
- Chile (in 1642 the VOC and the WIC sent a fleet of some ships to Chile to conquer the city of Valdivia and the goldmines of the Spanish)
See here the map of the Dutch Empire in America and others:

And in the picture in the link above, you can see that Belgium was included and also Luxembourg. Just like the map I created for Conquer Club BeNeLux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg)Coleman wrote:Did it? I should have double checked that map we used... I believe you.Lone.prophet wrote:i guess you could make holland bigger since it also include belgium
And yes, I read that part. Just wanna let you all now a little history of the Dutchiesgimil wrote:Everyone please listen.
"Please note the following map is not a recreate of genuine history. It is merly based off of historical events which have been tweeked and changed for the purpose of gameplay and balancing"
And Coleman and gimil, The idea is great! Now you can explore and colonize your own lands in America
Grtz
MarVal
Thanks MarVal, I knew about the South America landings, and the influences Dutch had on the languages down there. Not as much as Portugal, but nothing to scoff at.
I was going with 1600-1650 for the year range so I'm glad I was close. I knew they landed farther up in South America but didn't think it would be good for the Gameplay.
Hopefully this works out in live like my play tests did. Faster than Feudal Wars, but people playing smart should be safe first few rounds.

coupe of points:
is the island of ireland a terr. if so where is it linked to
is gb linked to the european mainland ?
the landing point instructions are duplicated
can you guys use a different term to "homeland" as i don't think it makes sense in this context.

Don't now why people on here don't like being cooks, remember under siege: A former SEAL, now cook, is the only person who can stop a gang of terrorists when they sieze control of a US Navy battleship.
no, it is just part of britainrebelman wrote: is the island of ireland a terr. if so where is it linked to
