How does this work?

Is it like team games of 2/3/4 players from each clan taking on a team of the other? Or are there other matches, and are they then one on one?

What maps, what cards format? Who decides this anyway?

Sorry but I'm new to this.

ok we have the people. but i want to be sure how many we need so i dont recruit and end up not having enough games for my people to play.
how many games of each type?
