How does CC determine which cards are given to each player and what color they are? In game 1503834, if you look closely card T2 was turned in as a red card during round 4 and then was turned in as a blue card in round 8. Not every card could have been distributed during this time since there are 45 territories and if everyone got a card through the first 8 turns this would only be 32 cards.

Seems to me colour is randomly determined. Which is a bit weird but doesn't matter I think.

Twill, could that lead to a situation where one person has the same card three times either in three different colors or all the same color, and then turn in a set getting six bonus armies on the same territory? Is that really fair?
I've never seen that happen, I think you can only get a card for a territory if there isn't already a card for that territory in play somewhere.

Well, that would be different from it being completely random, so which is it. Also, in the huge battle royal games, if there are cards, wouldn't there be too many people and therefore cards distributed to only have each card in play once.
when there are enough territories for the number of players in the game you will never hold the 2 copies of a card at the same time. if there arent enough territories for the players (example, 8 player doodle or any battle royal) it just makes a new deck and takes from that
I dont think you can get the same card but I do think two people can hold the same card, in different colours possibly...it means that card counting is impossible as a tactic

aries did a test and he had some cases where a player got the same card twice, different colors even as well

I think you can get the same card twice in a game but you can not have the same card multiple times in you hand. The way I believe it works is the cards are shuffled every turn. So once a person has a card no one else can get it until it's turned in.
And on another note a true deck of cards is on lacks To-Do list.

You CAN have multiple cards the same a while back. I once had three of the same in my hand, actually (two blue UK's, one red on Doodle Earth). But this was causing a bug in the game engine, so lack coded it so that you can't receive the same card multiple times. But then that caused another bug which was quickly fixed and doesn't matter anymore. Anyway, the bug wasn't really fixed then, because you could eliminate somebody who had the same card as you, resulting in the bug being activated. lack then coded it so that the game engine can accept multiples of the same card during cash-in.
In a nutshell, I believe you can't receive the same card by being given a card by the system, but you can if you take somebody out who has the same card as you.
