The only games that haven't finished for Round 3 are the two Conquer Rome games for the Antarctic Avengers vs. TFKSOH match. It looks like once they do finish up, it's going to require a tie-breaker, so we're going to be waiting for a bit.

For a quick breakdown...

Donessus is leading with 18 points.
TFKSOH is in second place with 15 points.
Tied for third place with 14 points are The Antarctic Avengers, The Sword of Peleus and Pickled Pigs.
Random Heroes and Creedence Fans are following closely behind with 13 and 12 points, respectively.
Everybody else has 8 points or less.

But it's still early in the tournament. Round 3 has just completed, while we have 11 Rounds to play, so this is still anybody's tournament!

Well, team Random Heroes (reptile and billclinton) have failed to accept their invites, even after I sent them a pm and resent them.

In the first post, I said that the first time something like this happened, an automatic win would be granted to the opposing team, and only after the second time it happened would the team be kicked from the tournament.

Since they failed to respond to me (and I know they saw the pm about it, since it left my outbox and went into sent mail folder), I am dropping them from the tournament now, instead of letting it happen again before I kick them out.

I am seeking a replacement team as of now to take their spots. If I do not find one within a few days, then I will just strike them from the record. Total scores will be changed for the teams that have played them, and any teams that are still scheduled to play them will simply not have a game to play that round.

Sorry about this, but I guess you can blame Random Heroes for disappearing and then ignoring my attempts to contact them. For the future, if anybody wants to drop out, I would really appreciate it if you just tell me so I can try to find a replacement team then, instead of waiting for two days for invites to be accepted that never will be.

Ok, well I'm not quite sure why you guys decided to not accept your invites, but if you wanted to drop out, you could have at least told me about it so I could try to find a replacement team ahead of time. Thanks for being so mature about it.

A small update:
Somebody finally stopped Donessus in their steady march to victory. A big congrats to The Antarctic Avengers for beating them! They are now tied with Donessus at 38 points, with the next two teams trailing by 5 and 6 points, respectively.

We still have 4 rounds to go, so it's still anybody's tournament!
