I have a concern with regards to Lunar War manual. As it is currently, it doesn't give you any troops to deploy on the different starting positions. However, it does have 4 troops on each of those regions. Should those not be deployable instead similar to maps like feudal etc?

No, since they are coded as starting positions. Starting positions always start with the amount they are coded, therefore manual deployment will not work.

The only way this could be remedied would be to get rid of the starting positions, and we don't want to do that for two reasons:
1 - it would force each shuttle to start with 3. We want them to have 4 for gameplay reasons.
2- in 2-player games each player would start with only 2 shuttles. We don't want that either.

Sorry, but the only solution I have for this is: if it bothers you, don't play Lunar with manual.

Lol, thats the whole point, there is no Lunar with manual. It just becomes an easier way to farm manual medals since there is nothing different in the game 'tween manual and auto. It doesn't really bug me persay, it's just weird /shrugs shoulders

Well, the same can be said for some other maps as well. There's a suggestion in the suggestions forum to disable manual from maps like this where the setting doesn't make any difference...

Yeah, I saw that, I just haven't seen any other maps where end deployment immediately follows begin turn, but I'll accept it if you say thats the case.

Just now, I was wondering if it's possible to see any latest versions of the map with neutral values? I think I've seen it in other op's and I was just wondering if It was just me, or N mare Imbium (connecting to br1) is the only sea to have 4 neutral? :?

Well, I only have this one:

Missile bases are 17, starting troops are 4, otherwise these values should be correct.

If you want to know what is in the active XML, go to http://www.conquerclub.com/maps/Lunar_War.xml. This should show you the text version and then you can search for <neutral> to see those values.

you should make the missile bases 10, and the requirement for mission objective 3 bases and 2 shuttles...anyways, how do you activate the missile vases?? i was only able to do it once, when the opponenet had no men on board??

each missile base starts with 17 neutral troops. if u kill a missile base's last neutral troop and advance, then u can, in the same turn, bombard any shuttles that u don't own. at the start of ur next turn, the missile base resets to 17 neutral troops unless someone takes it from u first.

It isn't a bombard is a normal assault :) but the missile bases reset to 17.

The objective isn't with the bases it is with the mines which only start with 8 or something on them :)

plurple is right, i stand corrected!

plurple is correct again, except that each mine starts with only 6 neutral troops. the reason for the mission objective being 1 shuttle plus 5 mines is explained by the map legend.

in the year 2060, the superpowers of the world have found a new battlefield: the moon and its vast reserves of helium-3.
