viewtopic.php?f=6&t=209279Discussion about the case has already started in the above link.
Apparently, what has happened here is the following.
1. Game starts, foggy
2. Ronc makes his move and takes a region
3. Joriki asks for information lost because of the move, not visible in the map anymore, because of the fog and waits 23 hours
4. Ronc does not respond, maybe he saw the post, maybe he didnt
5. Joriki decides to foe and deadbeat the game, obviously considering ronc's decision unsportsman-like
6. Debate in other topic starts, Ronc eventualy makes an C&A report
Before anyone starts offering explanations, the above are the facts. Joriki is not dbing because he was losing and he is not dbing to help opponent win faster. He is dbing because he is angry that Ronc did not follow what Joriki considers to be the appropriate moral code in foggy games.
Arguments have been made in the other topic as well. An example

well, declaring what he has declared and now dead beating out of a poly game, his actions have been a bit "dick-ish"...-Jésus noir©
Not so, he has acted most Honorable.
He entered a game, decided he did not want to play without the house rule, left the game.
Would you rather he be a ''freak'' and ''moan about it the entire game?''
If you want to get technical, not once did he hit the start button.
He foed and moved on...that's the way it is done.
that is not the way it is done. the way it is done, is be a man, or a woman, which im assuming the latter is the case, and play the damn game. house rules? intentionally deadbeating doesnt sound like house rules. there are no such rules i have gathered that you must give someone ample time to look at a map. it is supermax prison. one of the most transparent boards of all due to middle of the map, and other areas...
it is completely a dickish move, and moves. those who say otherwise im gonna have to say are prolly dicks as well.
I guess that dbing in purpose for subjective moral reasons of this kind, will eventualy be considered a violation of the rules. I just want to mention though, that Joriki is a very polite and enjoyable member of the community, who I have the experience to play with many times, a fact that is also clearly represented by his very high rating score. I am not aware of him ever having created any kind of trouble. His reaction is indeed quite extreme in this case and I was surprised to watch it happen. CC should seriously consider his good image and behavor until now before offering a punishment.
