Re: Civilitas High - Lesson 3: Maths

I'm pushing the wallflower thing because it has so far proven to be our best bet in confirming town. Why you push back on this idea is probably because something along the lines of "Well, town figuring out who is who goes against I play, grr mad!"

i'd be careful using words like "confirming ...

Re: Civilitas High - Lesson 3: Maths

LC's game has been erratic. but at this point, i would lean more towards Traf. he has a history of not participating D1 because of his very outspoken opinion that the first day is a waste of time. but his near silence D2 is out of character. it's true that even getting him to L-1 may not draw a ...

Re: Civilitas High - Lesson 2: Geography

i don't see it. if it's a rules violation, that would be up to the mod to step in. we're here to police AI use, not nit pick on whether a colon means a direct quote and not a paraphrasing.

i think it got the right guy this time. but i worry about the precedence this sets if that's a justification ...

Re: Civilitas High - Lesson 2: Geography

i have no problem with hjelp dropping the hammer. but his line of reasoning makes no sense to me. did you vote charle because you think he broke some rule by "quoting" a note he claims to have received related to his role in the game?

Re: Civilitas High - Lesson 2: Geography

geez, sure i started slow.. but i've posted considerably more than traf. not sure why i'm still being lumped in with him.

with all the back and forth happening, i remain stuck on charle. if i'm wrong on that and he ends up being a "good kid" teacher then i get that it'll make me look very ...

Re: Civilitas High - Lesson 2: Geography

i fear we may be approaching a point where inactivity is going to do us in. we need 6 votes to lynch and most likely only have 7 good kids to get them from. that means we need a near consensus and almost full participation.

the problem with voting LC, as suspicious as he seems, is that there is a ...

Re: Civilitas High - Lesson 2: Geography

i thought charle would be an open and shut case today. loose is definitely suspicious. but i'm about 60% on LC and 98% on charle. and that's rounding down because nothing is ever definite. the fact that both the good students we lost over recess were, again, i stress, STUDENTS tells us again that ...

I would have been very unlikely to post gutted that annie is out.
And i wouldnt double or treble down on this now.

ok. let's get some votes. besides your accidental Kingm vote.

i think LC's claim is weak. but charle's claim is an outright lie.

Vote Charle

Jay - Inactive. Only his last post really had anything to do with the game.

hey hey hey! i take offense to this*. my last three posts have been on the same topic. that i don't buy charle's claim of being a teacher. i also don't buy his claim now of "having info but can't ...

Re: Civilitas High - Lesson 2: Geography

i'm still highly skeptical of the teacher claim. the game was laid out pretty clearly and we are all students in class. there is no school that has a history teacher following a group of students from class to class. and that was his second weak claim, after the supposed "misunderstanding" of the ...

Re: Civilitas High - Lesson 1: English

is it just me, or does it seem a strange coincidence that the two claims that have been drawn out are both staff?

it looks like we're making it through day one without anybody looking super suspicious. charle came close.. 5hrs at L-1. seems like ample time for mafia to hammer him if they wanted ...

Re: Civilitas High - Lesson 1: English

i should have said this when i posted a couple days ago, but i'm confused about this janitor role as a claim. we're students. the school staff in this game should be NPCs, like our professor in class here.

if canada loses tomorrow, my activity likely goes up drastically. but that better not make ...

Re: Civilitas High - Lesson 1: English

Well what i think is mafia should be kept on edge thinking there might be a d1 lynch.

Trying to draw players into agreeing a no lynch d1 strategy is wrong for town, and saying another player in a current game thinks that without them saying so in the current game is wrong for town too

traf has ...

Re: Civilitas High - Lesson 1: English

Guys, we need to be careful here. In this specific game i tend to lean towards Traf's "No Lynch Day 1" strategy for the following reasons:
1. We have very little to work on Day 1 without any PR information from N1.
2. The chance that we have a miss lynch and get rid of someone like DDS who is ...

Re: Line of Duty Mafia game - DAY 2

We also have the big mechanical clue from the mod: he lowers the vote count from 8 to 7 for a lynch D2 (with Cofari and Cod awol). Why would the mod need to lower the votecount if both of them are scum? It does tilt the odds that at least one (or most likely both) of those 2 slots lean town, which ...

Re: Line of Duty Mafia game - DAY 2

Annie has summed up most of what made kingm suspicious on D1. i still think he's the most suspicious target we have, but sonic is right - the fact that charle and traf are town does lessen some of the suspicion. we could target one of the active but silent players. it makes sense that with town ...
