Need Majors or Above To Fill Some Standard Game Spots
I do sort of an invitational for Majors and Colonels, but this time the games have not filled up as quickly as I had hoped. I am leaving this callout to see if I can fill these games up so those of us who have already joined them can get started.

Re: Exponential Spoils - Awesomeness Inside
Eight or ten spoils would be ridiculous. Keep the spoil limit at the traditional five. I see no reason to allow someone to have 100+ troops from spoils in round eight.

Re: Exponential Spoils - Awesomeness Inside
Why isn't this idea still being discussed or adopted? This is the best spoils idea I've heard. Completely takes the luck out of the dice. DISCUSS PEOPLE. IMPLEMENT ADMINS.

It has been discussed that we limit the amount of concessions per turn. I would suggest it be limited to two or three; probably two. I would also suggest that a player not be able to concede his last remaining territory, which would go a long way in preventing a player giving his last territory ...

Re: Conceding Territories To Teammates
This will kill a big part of the strategy involving teammed games imo.
I don't see how. Maybe you could explain. What is strategic about killing teammates? The only argument I can fathom is that having to hit your teammates to take their territory makes you contemplate the situation and whether or ...

Re: Conceding Territories To Teammates
Last two posters make it seem like both teams aren't able to concede. I'm pretty sure the amount of concessions teammates can make will balance out for both teams. The more territories you have adjacent to your teammate, the less adjacent spaces you have to enemies, meaning they, too, have more ...

Re: Conceding Territories To Teammates
I like the idea of having the concede phase begin the turn. That should help in preventing teammates from exchanging massive armies between turns to attack with. If you concede before you attack, you obviously can't use a territory conceded to you and then just concede it back. That's a great idea ...

Re: Conceding Territories To Teammates
Right, A.sub. I do think it could be abused if one player is allowed to concede all of his territories to a teammate, but I think the main abuse aspect of it would be related to eliminations. Say Player A only has two territories left and both territories are adjacent to his teammate. He concedes ...

Re: Conceding Territories To Teammates
I just found this: http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9265. It is dated 2006. Seems to me this idea needs to be revisited.
Nothing in that thread mentions anything about teammates only being able to exchange adjacent territories, so maybe the idea was misinterpreted as teammates being ...

Conceding Territories To Teammates
I apologize ahead of time as I am sure that this has come up before, but I haven't seen the thread on it. A search did not yield the results I was looking for and I really want to know about this, so I am posting it anyway.

I thought a perfect drop was possible. Doesn't City Mogul drop players in specific sections?

Re: Siege - New Team Based Gametype
If that is the case, then perhaps a moderator will want to move this thread, but as I see it, this idea would require a new gametype as well since some map restrictions would have to be required for this idea to work. This being a new gametype suggestion, then, probably means this thread belongs ...

I don't like the idea of the multiple attacks being correlated with the auto-attack, in case of an accident or computer lagging and me multiple clicking (as happens freaquently with me). I'd rather have it like this

or something like this so that the ...

Re: Exponential Spoils - Awesomeness Inside
Sounds like a great idea. I would love to see this implemented; however, there definitely needs to be a cap. If we kept it at the five card limit, it would be easier to code. I also think the original "times two" idea would be best (one card = one, two cards = two, three cards = four, four cards ...

Re: Team Sequential Play Order
I thought about how big of an advantage it would be for the team who gets the first turn and have one possible solution: the first turn is done as a normal freestyle, so that whoever is there, when the game commences, can take their turn. This will lessen the amount of overall damage the first team ...
