Re: Official 2010 CC World Cup - Singles
The good news is: if the tournament keeps going at this pace, it should wrap up just in time for Brazil 2014.

Re: Route 66: coordinates on pg 13
It depends what you're thinking. A fair amount of them are not uniformly placed, but seeing how it's not possible to really "center" them and that they're all in the circles, I'll leave it up to the public and you in particular to decide what's best.
In my opinion, the large map coordinates look ...

Re: Vancouver Map [D, GP, GR, XML] (Sep1 - p25)
You could do that. IMHO I think you might be also add a connection between Belcarra and Deep Cove. I think that would help a little. It would force you to defend one more place. Here's the game I played so you can see what actions I took http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=5596512 Hope this ...

Re: Vancouver Map [D, GP, GR, XML] (Sep1 - p25)
Downtown Station is currently using start positions with the rest of the Canada Line, in the same manner as the Coast Mountains and West Vancouver also have start positions. Is this not sufficient?
Not sure. I think this should be up for debate. My take is this...

By "east", I assume you mean "west", and I agree it's a bit tough to see. Either more visible, or a note about it in the legend (though that would probably be too crowded).Gilligan wrote:I think that sea connection to the east should be more visible.

Re: Native America.. UPDATE page 3
Just three quick things because I love this map
1. Get rid of the compass it does not fit with the map
2. Either capitalize the names or don't but don't have it random
3. Add more canoes because that river really divides the map and only one looks odd
i like the compass.... why doesn't it fit ...

Re: Mexico City Metro
as a df metro user (not so often, though) i cant wait for this! :D
but, the issue is that lines like A and B have LONG lines of stations that don't cross other lines....taking em off wouldn't do....but keeping them is troublesome too....i would keep em and add 1 or 2 armies more to their bonus ...

Re: World Cities
Nitpicking about cities is fine at this stage, its one of the reasons I've left the map as a stick diagram.
Well, in that case ;) :
I'd switch Quebec to Montreal -- Montreal's population is 1.6M, and Quebec City is under 500K. You don't even need to move the circle really.

Re: World Cities
I like it. I'm tempted to start nitpicking about which cities are included, but other than that it's a solid idea.

Looks good,
Few things I'd suggest:
-put the mini-map more into the bottom right corner, and move the compass somewhere else. It looks a bit odd the way it is now.
-don't worry about making the "T" for Tucuman red. I think if you even used "T.", and then explain it somewere, people will know it's ...

Re: Mexico City Metro
I've been messing around with the idea of more metro systems as a map pack. Here's what I've sketched out for NYC, for what it's worth:

Obviously pretty rough, but a start. Emp. Metalman will be happy to see this one is more like ...

Re: Mexico City Metro
I thought about the possibilities of this map when I was down there at new years, and what I love about riding the DF metro are the symbols for each station. I imagine the metro system holds the copyright, but it would be worth looking into their use. Otherwise this map is just a crowded, confusing ...

Re: Mexico City Metro
Good start but I don't like how some stations belong to multiple continents.
When two lines intersect, there should be two stations like the Rail USA and Rail Europe map
I actually believe the opposite, I like how this is set up. Makes for a different game play and I dont even want to imagine ...

Yeah, all those images were just context for the poll.
