In a Doubles games, pairs of two players team up against other teams. The last team alive wins. |
Automatic |
Regions are randomly distributed at the start of the game and each region starts with three troops. |
Sequential |
A player is selected at random to go first and then subsequent players follow in turn. During a team game the play order alternates between the teams. |
Flat Rate |
At the end of your turn if you have conquered at least one region you get 'spoils.' Once you have three of the same color (or three different) these can be traded in at the start of your turn for bonus troops. A set of three reds is worth four bonus troops. Three greens is worth six and three blues is worth 8. A set of three different colors is worth ten bonus troops. If you own any of the regions that you trade-in you get two bonus troops on those regions. |
Unlimited |
At the end of your turn you can reinforce as many times as you like between regions that are connected. |
No |
Fog of War masks enemy positions that are not adjacent to your forces (or your team's forces). It also masks region and zone names in the log |
No |
You can only assault from regions held since the start of your turn. If you conquer a region during your turn you cannot assault from it until your next turn. |

2011-09-14 15:34:58 - greyghoast71 gained 28 points
2011-09-05 14:33:40 - Loose Canon: hmm T1 have managed to achieve a massive strategic advantage
2011-09-05 22:19:34 - Frankenstein75: YES, I Agree blue, I think we will have to take a break on fighting each other before its to late
2011-09-06 14:04:43 - universalchiro: hhhmmm T1 is not strong as you think. This game is between T2 and T3. But blue you did well to distract Teal and pink in believing you
2011-09-06 14:27:50 - Loose Canon: green as you are aware, any team can win ultimately but only your team can nwin presently while your teammate is getting 31 reinf & has troop lead too, so no distraction
2011-09-06 16:16:58 - universalchiro: Blue you are correct, any team can win, but T2 stands the most to benefit by teaming up with T2 & T3 versus T1. Especially since T2 has the most troops at 105. I am impressed by your negotiating skills blue. And it just may have given T2 the game.
2011-09-06 16:18:25 - universalchiro: Either way, you all have been worthy oppenents and you kicked my tail out of N. America. It is a pleasure playing you guys :)
2011-09-06 23:02:43 - Loose Canon: offered a swap at the moment green I would swap your teams position with ours, (I wouldn't swap T3s with ours)
2011-09-07 04:58:11 - universalchiro: Blue I see your point that being in the middle of two teams is not ideal, T3 is 2 regions away from adding 9 more guys per turn. Which puts T3 in second place, behind T2. I think it's still between T2 & T3 :)
2011-09-08 01:07:03 - JSmiffy: Team 1 is requesting a truce from Team 3. Do you accept pink and teal?
2011-09-08 14:09:45 - universalchiro: We seek a truce with Team 3. There's no sense handing the game to Team 2
2011-09-08 14:30:08 - Loose Canon: look T1 you know and I know that if you asked for a truce with us we would say no because that would hand the game to you, therefore are you not insulting the intelligence of T3 by asking them for a truce?
2011-09-08 15:15:54 - universalchiro: Currently it's T2 & T3 versus T1, which is handing the game to T2, our team seeks peace with T3. We won't attack T3's territories.
2011-09-09 10:27:07 - Loose Canon: and of course you keep asking for it, and asking for it, and asking for it, becuase that will give you the game, go on ask again I know you will
2011-09-09 13:49:11 - universalchiro: T2 has +18 more troops than T1 and +41 more Troops than T3. T3 take a breather from us & build up your forces. You are weakening both of us while T2's lead increases
2011-09-09 15:25:13 - universalchiro: Blue, I respect what you are saying. I would say the same thing if I were you and you would be saying the same if you were me :)
2011-09-09 15:27:09 - universalchiro: By the way blue, I respect your strategy, I think you are good and deserve ranking of Major
2011-09-10 10:39:57 - Loose Canon: ahhh, you made me come over all warm and fuzzy towards you green,.... for a second
2011-09-10 20:36:05 - universalchiro: Team 3, time to see reality, Blue can only go up now. Pink leave 1 troop on Kitaamiut and we can save a lot of guys by only having to attack 1 troop each turn. Deal?
2011-09-11 15:58:24 - universalchiro: T3, look at Troop totals: T2 has 21 more troops than us. & going to turn in spoils. We need to take a breather from each other
2011-09-11 16:55:53 - universalchiro: Now T2 has 49 more troops than T1. T3 it's time for a truce b4 it's too late for both of us
2011-09-11 20:59:01 - universalchiro: Now T2 has 53 more troops than T1. It seems that T2 is playing for T3. This strategy of the weakest always attacking the 2nd weakest is not logical.
2011-09-12 01:47:04 - universalchiro: T2 has 64 more troops than T1. I call foul. T3 is not playing to win, T3 is playing for T2 to win. Hey T2, Is T3 your 2nd and 3rd accounts? I call foul of multiple accounts by same user
2011-09-12 08:57:01 - Loose Canon: well I didn't see that coming, seems we were both wasting our breath
2011-09-12 15:37:40 - Loose Canon: It's a shame really because for all your imploring that we were in the strong position, I don't think we were, BUT it was a finely balanced and interesting game
2011-09-12 16:26:40 - universalchiro: The game has been illegal for too long. Conquer club saw the cheating & booted 2 players. Team 3 helped T2 for so long that there is a marked imbalance now in this game.
2011-09-13 10:13:23 - Loose Canon: a pact for mutual self interest surely can't count as illegality though
2011-09-13 10:14:01 - Loose Canon: Do you know how to check what exactly they got booted out for? If so please advise
2011-09-14 15:38:28 - Loose Canon: shame about T3 being knocked out, becuase that changed a game where we had troop advantage but strategic disadvantage, into one where it was a walkover for us, and as far as I am aware there was nothing illegal or wrong going on
2011-09-14 15:39:50 - Loose Canon: But well played T1 in terms of getting a strategic advantage, and you attempts at diplomacy
2011-09-14 18:30:43 - Loose Canon: also T1, I am going to hold off giving each of you a rating because I am not sure whether the disqual of T3 arose from a complaint you made or what. If it wasn't for this uncertainty I would be giving each of you a top rating on all counts.
2011-09-14 18:31:23 - Loose Canon: Next time we meet I fully expect you to each earn a top rating from me on all counts though.
