2011-07-15 22:36:16 - OliverFA: Things are moving!
2011-07-17 23:12:38 - fumandomuerte: damn southern kamikazes
2011-07-18 15:30:52 - ubersky: lol. sorry.but green does seem to be the problem
2011-07-18 21:33:58 - OliverFA: Green is not the problem. Green is the solution ;-)
2011-07-18 23:20:28 - fumandomuerte: you were lucky that nobody red the map properly. 3 castle + 2 villages connected yet they thought I was the bad guy, amazing
2011-07-18 23:21:55 - fumandomuerte: each round reinforcing at least 20 troops from 5 different places. You gotta understand that I'm very pissed off :(
2011-07-18 23:23:17 - OliverFA: You were the bad guy. It's just that at some point of the game you stopped being the bad guy
2011-07-19 22:57:27 - ubersky: one thing you have to understand about Oliver.. he is a very patient player.
2011-07-20 16:42:39 - OliverFA: You say it because of game 5523042? ;-)
2011-07-20 18:37:15 - ubersky: I was thinking about 5586762, but yeah that's a good one. Every game I've played with you, you are steady and patient.
2011-07-20 18:37:32 - ubersky: AA style goes with your mentality.
2011-07-20 18:38:32 - ubersky: And I shouldn't of attacked orange, but truced, and took care of grey. At the time I didn't expect Yellow to just fial out.
2011-07-21 16:01:53 - OliverFA: How was that? The man who moves a mountain begins by carrying away small stones ;)
2011-07-21 16:05:12 - OliverFA: And I like AA for many reasons. Also because of the slow paced game, but not only because of that. For example I like the fact that you can actually have several fronts, like now in the game
2011-07-21 16:05:51 - OliverFA: Don't know what happened. The game passed directly from deploying to reinforcing. Well, it should not be important. Let's suppose I did not want to move :-D
2011-07-21 17:26:40 - ubersky: odd
2011-07-21 21:17:53 - fumandomuerte: there was a chain of events that changed the board layout like kato's suicide and Catarah's missed turns. But it was a matter of time for this game to explode hehe
2011-07-21 21:55:01 - OliverFA: well the important thing is that it is fun ;)
2011-07-21 22:23:49 - fumandomuerte: Indeed. And I'm very glad to see that with games passing it's getting hard too see players breaking the AA honor rules!
2011-07-22 18:07:23 - ubersky: Catarah's deadbeat out I think affected things the most. It gave Green another castle, and stuck a flipping wedge on the Xeu landscape. I should have pushed into green a few rounds before, and that might have slowed things a bit, giving Fuman some time.
2011-07-22 18:07:45 - ubersky: but at some point it was going to be between green and orange, and things tipped in greens favor.
2011-07-23 10:35:19 - OliverFA: Yes yellow was the danger keeping me in check
2011-07-27 06:32:45 - ubersky: green, you got lucky on ID7.
2011-07-27 15:53:03 - OliverFA: At least I had a bit of luck
2011-07-28 20:53:18 - ubersky: I can't believe it. I think I have seen the first AA Rules violation by OliverFA
2011-07-28 20:53:19 - ubersky: OliverFA assaulted Xeu 10 from G'ah 1 and conquered it from ubersky
2011-07-28 20:53:40 - ubersky: I wondered how you got all the way back into Xeu 10.
2011-07-28 20:54:13 - ubersky: I think you have to forfeit Imperial Dynasty regions to me, and pledge not to attack me for 150 rounds.
2011-07-28 20:54:22 - ubersky: That would only be fair.
2011-07-28 20:54:24 - ubersky: :)
2011-07-28 23:00:19 - fumandomuerte: hahaha word
2011-07-28 23:08:35 - OliverFA: Oh! I can't believe it either! I have broken my 100% record! :'(
2011-07-28 23:09:58 - OliverFA: I thougt I was attacking from Xeu 8, but actually I was doing from G'ah 1
2011-07-28 23:11:00 - OliverFA: Please don't tell anyone I am human ;-)
2011-07-28 23:11:44 - OliverFA: By the way, now that we are chatting here. Which kind of tournament structure do you prefer? The traditional from the 2011 AA tournament with groups? Or the "Swiss Style" of the second tournament?
2011-07-28 23:41:00 - fumandomuerte: Swiss Style implies mano-a-mano battles? if so I would go with the traditional format
2011-07-28 23:42:00 - fumandomuerte: the other thing is that I would recommend each map to be played at least with 4 players
2011-07-29 05:40:49 - ubersky: I really do like the Swiss Style, but I enjoy the "small group" style as well. You get to know a small group of players when you play 10 games or so in a round.
2011-07-29 05:41:54 - ubersky: The only thing I've ever been meaning to mention about AA games is Reinforcements. When I do the AA Tourney games, I always choose Adjacent. Sorta seems silly to limit offensive movements to Adjacent, but then let ppl Reinforce across the board.
2011-07-29 05:42:53 - ubersky: This board would have played out differently if you guys had not been able to bring your Castle troops all the way in.
2011-07-29 23:40:17 - OliverFA: Yes. The problem with 1v1 games in that a high percentage of them are decided too much on luck
2011-07-29 23:40:53 - OliverFA: But I think it's interesting to mix games with 2,4 and 8 people.
2011-07-29 23:42:59 - OliverFA: About the adjacent reinforcements, that makes sense. But I also like the idea about allowing just one big movement per turn (chained). It's like saying that your territory has this advantage for being yours
2011-07-29 23:43:31 - OliverFA: and makes strategies to split opponent's land a lot more important
2011-07-29 23:43:50 - OliverFA: What I trully dislike is unlimited reinforcements. Too powerful in my opinion
2011-07-30 07:09:40 - ubersky: Well, I think that's about it. at least I got a few points from grey before I went down.
2011-07-30 07:09:44 - ubersky: gg all
2011-07-31 00:39:59 - OliverFA: good game ubersky
2011-08-09 22:39:45 - fumandomuerte: good game Oliver, you can kill me anytime, no need to respect the rules at this point ;)
2011-08-10 18:28:28 - OliverFA: Good game. That was a hard and fun one! ;)
