Standard |
In a standard game each player fends for himself and there is only one winner. |
Manual |
With manual initial troops, each region is initially populated with 1 troop and during the first round of the game players deploy the rest wherever they see fit. During this first round, you cannot see your opponents' deployments and all players can play simultaneously. |
Freestyle |
In a freestyle game it doesn't matter in which order players take their turns. Players can even play simultaneously! After the last player takes his turn, a new round begins immediately. |
Flat Rate |
At the end of your turn if you have conquered at least one region you get 'spoils.' Once you have three of the same color (or three different) these can be traded in at the start of your turn for bonus troops. A set of three reds is worth four bonus troops. Three greens is worth six and three blues is worth 8. A set of three different colors is worth ten bonus troops. If you own any of the regions that you trade-in you get two bonus troops on those regions. |
Unlimited |
At the end of your turn you can reinforce as many times as you like between regions that are connected. |
No |
Fog of War masks enemy positions that are not adjacent to your forces (or your team's forces). It also masks region and zone names in the log |
No |
You can only assault from regions held since the start of your turn. If you conquer a region during your turn you cannot assault from it until your next turn. |
None |
|
24 Hours |
Each player has up to 24 hours to complete a turn. You will get an email notification when it is your turn to play. |

2011-03-14 17:13:14 - VicFontaine: Geez if I had noticed this was manual I never would've joined LOL. Good luck, guys, and thanks for hosting Red.
2011-03-14 20:54:13 - rblue211: lol i missed that too. still looking forward to this new map FINALLY, good luck all!
2011-03-15 15:13:08 - VicFontaine: Well guys, I think that unless we agree to a truce along our current borders, Yellow cannot be stopped. I think we're all going to have to help blue defeat yellow to the north, or we're done for.
2011-03-15 15:14:13 - VicFontaine: Porky, if you look at the game log, I attacked you before yellow went. I had no idea he'd dominate so much. If you will agree to a truce where our border is right now, I'll use all my men next turn to attack yellow and save the game for us.
2011-03-15 15:14:36 - VicFontaine: I'm going to need every single one of my guys, though. If you attack me and break my bonus, I can't do it, and the game will be over.
2011-03-16 00:03:29 - VicFontaine: Okay porky, doofus ;). That's game over.
2011-03-16 00:04:11 - VicFontaine: I say *doofus* as a joke, btw.
2011-03-16 00:05:22 - VicFontaine: Steon, if you will deploy in North America and break up yellow a bit, I promise I will not even attempt to attack you in south america for at least 3 turns, if that.
2011-03-16 00:55:29 - rblue211: I've had some bad dice, been trying to break yellow up each turn.
2011-03-16 01:42:56 - VicFontaine: Well, Blue, apparently no one else believes Yellow will win this game in about 4 rounds because they aren't doing anything to stop him. I was going to, but Porky wants to finish our private war.
2011-03-16 14:39:19 - VicFontaine: I guess me and blue are the only ones wanting to actually agree to deals verbally.
2011-03-16 21:41:39 - porky_94024: pink, i leave u alone and that's what i get?
2011-03-16 23:04:11 - VicFontaine: Porky, you didn't leave me alone. Read the game log before you spout your propaganda :)
2011-03-16 23:05:15 - VicFontaine: I ASKED you for a truce, apologized for my invasion based on a lack of foresight into Yellow, then you never responded. Of course, I now expect horrible ratings from you based on this exchange, which is (mostly) your fault.
2011-03-17 00:34:31 - commander pug: we should deal with green
2011-03-17 03:19:04 - VicFontaine: Yellow should deal with green, green should deal with yellow, blue and red should loan me 1,000 dollars so I can buy help changing diapers. The world will be happy once more :P
2011-03-17 04:41:40 - commander pug: maybe we should all attack purple as he likes to talk alot of shit
2011-03-17 12:46:50 - VicFontaine: Pug, do you not even get my joke?
2011-03-17 12:47:07 - VicFontaine: I'm not talking any "shit." I'm just talking to be friendly. No one else is.
2011-03-17 13:05:12 - rblue211: i'm with purple ;)
2011-03-17 13:05:41 - rblue211: i think green's outta control though, not much we can do now
2011-03-17 14:58:07 - VicFontaine: His bonuses are mostly from regions. If we are able to take about 20 from him next turn, the game may yet be saved. We just need to NOT destroy each other lol
2011-03-17 20:04:01 - VicFontaine: Wow red. Why did you not attack green? You realize he's got a stack of 39 along your border, right?
2011-03-17 22:25:42 - commander pug: yes but i need something to attack with
2011-03-17 22:26:29 - commander pug: i'll leave you alone now if we attack green to thin him out
2011-03-18 16:59:54 - Chief Red Fox: gg green
2011-03-18 17:14:16 - steon2007: thanks yellow - you gave me close run ;-)
2011-03-18 20:38:00 - VicFontaine: GG Steon :)
