2011-03-10 00:16:04 - MaKi TaKi: if people choose not to read them who is at fault for that ?
2011-03-10 00:16:59 - MaKi TaKi: it is just like playing a BETA Map sometimes the coding is changed mid-game and things get altered during the game - it is a risk we take
2011-03-10 00:18:39 - MaKi TaKi: even if Red was to eliminate Green that turn - he was not in a position to win the game
2011-03-10 00:19:24 - MaKi TaKi: if Red was able to double cash in spoils [ 65 + 70 = 130 ]
2011-03-10 00:20:05 - MaKi TaKi: that would not be enough to kill Yellow or Pink or both during that turn
2011-03-10 00:26:32 - raston_morue: Maki, I read all the forum rules. I clicked for a full advance and it did nothing. I would have taken green's cards and fortified somewhere. I took blue's cards and no one advanced then.
2011-03-10 00:27:31 - raston_morue: We do not know what the rest of the players would have done if I had traded in. Would you have gambled and risked hitting me? alliances? fighting for years and growing old together?
2011-03-10 00:28:09 - MaKi TaKi: NOTE: If you use the greasemonkey clickable maps, please update your script to version 4.7!
2011-03-10 00:28:28 - raston_morue: My point is, lets let the right thing happen. Clickable maps has bugs. We all know it, so we as the gamers have to play it fair. If we were all at a table game, none of this would happen
2011-03-10 00:28:31 - MaKi TaKi: that is the headline in the post which you asked for help
2011-03-10 00:28:52 - raston_morue: ps Maki. If the same thing happened to you in a critical situation, I would skip a turn.
2011-03-10 00:29:10 - MaKi TaKi: my Clickable Map is working fine - i have no issues with it at all
2011-03-10 00:29:18 - raston_morue: so how about this... if green and yellow both skip, would you skip?
2011-03-10 00:29:45 - MaKi TaKi: did you read the announcement when you logged in ?
2011-03-10 00:30:49 - MaKi TaKi: do you think that when you eliminated Green from the game this turn that you would be in a position to win the game ?
2011-03-10 00:54:39 - raston_morue: yes, i read the announcement. no. I did not think I could win this turn by knocking out green. It seemed like this was my best bet to position myself into a point of strength
2011-03-10 00:55:19 - raston_morue: what you or yellow would do from this point would be fun to see. If I lost from the point of reality, then that is something different
2011-03-10 00:59:50 - MaKi TaKi: lets look at it this way
2011-03-10 01:00:30 - MaKi TaKi: if you had a power outage and were not able to login before your turn was over
2011-03-10 01:01:11 - MaKi TaKi: would you also be asking people to miss a turn so you could continue from this point ?
2011-03-10 01:03:36 - MaKi TaKi: what if the CC Server crashed and you were not able to complete your turn
2011-03-10 01:03:51 - MaKi TaKi: these things do happen from time to time
2011-03-10 01:25:23 - VicFontaine: Maki, you're creating hypotheticals. This is specious reasoning and irrelevant. Yep, I'm an outsider. But as an outsider with no stake either way, it's simply good sportsmanship to give other players grace. But like I said, that's rare. So tough
2011-03-10 01:25:27 - VicFontaine: luck Raston.
2011-03-10 01:27:30 - MaKi TaKi: i am showing options that do happen from time to time
2011-03-10 01:30:22 - MaKi TaKi: just like a coding issue that occurs
2011-03-10 01:31:12 - MaKi TaKi: when it says inside the BLUE BOX at the top of the MY GAMES page
2011-03-10 01:31:29 - MaKi TaKi: NOTE: If you use the greasemonkey clickable maps, you MUST update your script to version 4.7!
2011-03-10 01:32:06 - MaKi TaKi: i take that as someone that did not read the announcement until after the fact
2011-03-10 01:32:44 - MaKi TaKi: because if he had read and updated his Clickable Maps coding
2011-03-10 01:32:55 - MaKi TaKi: THIS WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED
2011-03-10 02:20:38 - raston_morue: no. I am updated. As far as your reasoning, not finishing a turn for a power outage might or might not be cool. earthquake or something like that - yes. not paying your bill - no.
2011-03-10 02:23:58 - raston_morue: cc server crashed - absolutly. I would skip for someone because it was out of their reach
2011-03-10 02:25:09 - raston_morue: really maki, the point is moot for now. you are the only one weighing in. If Xelavie skips, I think we need to follow the skip theory to be fair then to two players.
2011-03-10 02:25:25 - raston_morue: If green goes, then everyone else should go
2011-03-10 04:13:37 - MaKi TaKi: why should i have to miss out on 29 troops .. you did not lose any troops
2011-03-10 04:15:35 - MaKi TaKi: if you were UPDATED as you say
2011-03-10 04:15:53 - MaKi TaKi: then you would not have had any issues with your turn
2011-03-10 04:16:32 - MaKi TaKi: i had an issue during a turn made the update and refreshed my screen and fixed the problem
2011-03-10 04:32:30 - VicFontaine: Raston, give it up. It's just a game and a few points. You'll get them back, and preserve your sanity. Maki wants to win the game regardless.
2011-03-10 04:34:48 - VicFontaine: Maki, you are sitting in a position of supreme dominance over Raston. I'm unsure what the real hesitation is. Just take your turn and don't advance (at least?).
2011-03-11 02:12:34 - raston_morue: maki, that was weird
2011-03-11 02:13:26 - raston_morue: now yellow will win this game. fo sho
2011-03-11 02:13:39 - raston_morue: translation - for sure
2011-03-11 02:49:12 - MaKi TaKi: my stack against your stack Red was not very good for attackers
2011-03-11 03:18:55 - raston_morue: So, back to my original point :) we should have played it as if the error never occured. I actually think if I had taken green, you would have won :)
2011-03-11 03:20:03 - raston_morue: ps you should have put your 47 on ga'h 9 and blocked yellow from getting to green
2011-03-12 00:37:20 - MaKi TaKi: when you do the math 163 + 75 + 14 = 252 what is 47 going to do against that ?
2011-03-12 02:29:22 - Fewnix: good game,but I think its over
2011-03-12 02:29:36 - Fewnix: G:>
