2010-10-21 23:37:05 - DeAnza: hi Tim
2010-10-21 23:37:08 - DeAnza: I see that you're on
2010-10-23 12:57:30 - barroland: Hi, Tim.
2010-10-23 13:01:38 - barroland: chat with me on gmail when you are done
2010-10-23 19:49:02 - Philodox: I think dad keeps expecting me to make sure James doesn't keep a whole mountain. Not happening this time, dad since you arn't helping!
2010-10-23 21:41:36 - barroland: ah, yes! I should reward such fine behavior!
2010-10-23 21:52:11 - barroland: of course, I keep expecting Dad to make sure Tim doesn't keep a whole mountain ...
2010-10-23 21:52:58 - barroland: and I feel an obligation to make sure Dad doesn't get a lot of troops
2010-10-23 21:53:05 - barroland: ..
2010-10-23 21:53:54 - barroland: Tim, what happened with the "ran out of time" two turns ago?
2010-10-23 21:54:13 - barroland: did you finish what you wanted to do?
2010-10-24 03:09:05 - Philodox: I'm a card behind too, I guess I forgot to play a turn.
2010-10-24 03:09:23 - Philodox: I probably pressed start turn, than forgot
2010-10-24 03:14:57 - Philodox: I wish there was a percentage win/loss like in warfish, so you can know if you won or loss because of rolls or because of strategy.
2010-10-24 03:15:10 - Philodox: percentage win/loss in rolls, that is.
2010-10-24 04:27:48 - DeAnza: Honestly, I don't have a strong desire to win. I would be happy for any one of us to win. May be we should play with some other people.
2010-10-24 09:06:39 - DeAnza: I think Tim played the turn, but forgot to press finish turn buttom, so when one hour is up, then run out of time.
2010-10-24 14:15:25 - barroland: oof
2010-10-24 14:15:31 - barroland: where did all my troops go?
2010-10-24 14:15:53 - barroland: didn't I have 43 or so not too long ago?! - ha!
2010-10-24 14:18:55 - barroland: ...
2010-10-24 14:19:05 - barroland: ok, so should we start a new game?
2010-10-24 14:19:47 - barroland: Dad suggested we play a "triples", us three on the same team, against three other random people?
2010-10-24 14:20:14 - barroland: maybe the "World 2.1" map Tim played? - Tim, did you like that map?
2010-10-24 14:25:54 - Philodox: Is there a way to play a map with more neutrals? I played a 3 FFA world 2.1, and I think it would be fun with fog of war and you start out with a lot of neutrals. with 3, you have so much territories you can see where everyone is.
2010-10-24 14:28:46 - Philodox: What I'm thinking is a game like that castle one with the sanctuary place or whatnot, more interesting I think when you start a game and don't see much.
2010-10-24 14:56:00 - barroland: Hi Tim. Just left you a voicemail on your Google voice.
2010-10-24 14:58:30 - barroland: Anyways, we've tried a couple maps kind of like you described (start with one or two regions, lots of neutrals): "Peloponnesian Wars" and "Age of Realms" series
2010-10-24 14:58:59 - barroland: check them out, and let's set up a time to all log on together and join the same game
2010-10-24 15:00:08 - barroland: um
2010-10-24 15:00:13 - barroland: looks like Dad just won
2010-10-24 15:02:34 - barroland: good job, Dad!
2010-10-24 15:14:00 - DeAnza: It's a bold move, and surprised that it worked.
2010-10-24 15:14:15 - DeAnza: Enjoy playing with you both.
2010-10-24 15:23:03 - DeAnza: I had good dice against Tim, not so good against James. But with James, my army was much bigger so can afford some bad losses.
