2010-08-05 02:28:47 - taxmanjle: this is a horrible map to play head to head on. And not just saying that because you're going to win
2010-08-05 02:54:04 - danes: i personally like it a lot. i'm like 69-3 in 1v1 or something rediculous like that, so i use it for tournament home field things. I know that not a lot of people like it, and it does get boring and take a long time to finish
2010-08-05 02:54:37 - danes: But i really want to make it as far in the tournament as I can which is why i picked it
2010-08-05 05:18:06 - taxmanjle: It's just too big. Whoever goes first has such a huge advantage. It's tough to come back from. Don't blame you for picking it. You obviously play this map well
2010-08-05 07:37:55 - danes: I've had sucess on this map going first or second. The key is to take areas that are hard for your opponent to break and to break and then take areas you can hold. Obviously as on any map, there is an advantage to going first
2010-08-05 07:38:18 - danes: but i do better going second on this map than i do going first on a smaller map
2010-08-07 02:16:01 - taxmanjle: Still think this map should have been banned from this tourney. This is the gayest map on the site and even gayer in a head to head match. You'll probably win the tourney since 98% of the players hate this map
2010-08-07 19:00:03 - taxmanjle: Almost. Best of the luck going forward. You dominate on this map. Should bode well for you
2010-08-07 19:03:35 - danes: thanks, good luck in your other games
2010-08-08 03:00:50 - ViperOverLord: LOL - I had to win this map in the NCAA Tourney - It was my random map. It was a daunting task but I think its a fair map, especially flat rate
2010-08-08 03:01:37 - ViperOverLord: And with no fog of war on top of that you can generally counter well
2010-08-08 03:02:23 - ViperOverLord: I actually got screwed in the 2 of 3 in that tournament on the smaller maps
2010-08-08 03:02:58 - ViperOverLord: My opponent won those maps on the first turn
2010-08-08 03:03:11 - ViperOverLord: So I disagree with your belief, but thanks for playing :)
2010-08-12 11:07:25 - danes: I find this map the most "fair" with escalating, but with escalating, games can go way too long, as every time someone gets a set, the whole game changes drastically, especially after round 20 or so.
