2009-11-25 02:54:44 - cjtails: Well, the drop is favorable to you (not as well as I had last time) and you go first...gg.
2009-11-25 02:54:55 - cjtails: JK
2009-11-25 02:56:25 - cjtails: Going to bed, let's pick this up tomorrow.
2009-11-25 02:57:15 - cjtails: good night East Coaster...I was from the coast myself (Hartford, CT & Wilmington, DE)...in Ohio now.
2009-11-25 02:58:18 - cjtails: omg...what dice...later
2009-11-25 03:00:22 - Lubawski: Yeah, I was going to wait until morning, but decided to go for my first turn first. Glad I did. That was amazing. I'm originally from Chicago...so longing for the Midwest.
2009-11-25 12:36:10 - cjtails: I must say that I am not a big fan of this format...one chance I have to keep the game even close to even and then it's over...not too exciting nor a real display of strategy.
2009-11-25 12:37:28 - cjtails: Got to head off to work...take it easy and don't beat me up too bad :)
2009-11-25 14:06:52 - Lubawski: On most maps, 1v1 is a crap shoot with too much of who goes first. There are a few maps where it doesn't play as big a difference. This one will end with the person going first winning every game. Kind of rediculous. Anyway, you played well enough to win.
2009-11-25 14:06:58 - Lubawski: Odds were just in my favor.
2009-11-25 14:07:38 - Lubawski: And I'm at work (was earlier today as well). I jump on when I don't have students in my room...like now.
2009-11-25 16:24:43 - Lubawski: That's pretty well it. Good game. Well played.
2009-11-26 01:50:57 - cjtails: I like playing mature people...thanks for the discussion - doesn't happen too often.
2009-11-26 01:56:10 - cjtails: ..the dice were favorable for a round...I got you just where I want you, lol.
2009-11-26 14:03:12 - Lubawski: Mine were at least as good there. I took out your first 5 territories (7 armies) without a loss.
2009-11-26 14:04:07 - Lubawski: And thanks. I like playing mature people too. When you realize that a 1v1 between two good strategist happens, it will come down to luck of the dice/drop/first turn almost all the time, it's difficult to gloat.
2009-11-26 17:55:56 - cjtails: Yah, and there's no fun when you cannot gloat :) No luck there...all losing dice except for one against Algeria.
