2009-08-27 08:02:16 - Aradhus: fuck sake, that should have been 'worry I'm here'
2009-09-02 20:56:35 - Aradhus: Velve for Arad
2009-09-15 02:49:07 - Chariot of Fire: ?? Ara
2009-09-17 04:20:20 - Aradhus: velve for arad
2009-09-19 23:47:45 - TheBro: A 3 in gameplay for Velve? Holy Balls Batman, how good do you have to be!? ;)
2009-09-20 21:57:01 - guylian: huh
2009-09-20 23:57:59 - Aradhus: thebro is refering to Phantomzeros rating of Velvecarrots gameplay, in a recent game. Before that rating Velve had a 5.0 - And on top of that fact, Velve was the only player out of the four players on our team that Pantom rated, I suspect it was...
2009-09-20 23:58:35 - Aradhus: perhaps motivated by spite...
2009-09-21 01:36:08 - Velvecarrots: It's all good, ratings don't mean much anyways. He probably rated me because I seemed to have rated him in a previous game we played.
2009-09-21 01:36:46 - Velvecarrots: I gave him a 3 because he made some poor statistical attacks (the fact that he won them is irrelevant...)
2009-09-21 08:23:20 - Dako: yeah but velve went down in the attitude column lol :D
2009-09-21 15:15:19 - Velvecarrots: I do have a bit of an attitude. But fair play?...
2009-09-21 16:58:50 - phantomzero: wow, who knew that one rating would be such a topic of discussion
2009-09-21 16:59:24 - phantomzero: I'm not sure which game you gave me the 3 rating for.. I hardly had a turn in the quads Disc game
2009-09-21 16:59:58 - phantomzero: but on the Lux game. It's a small map, and luck is a big factor in small maps
2009-09-21 17:03:23 - phantomzero: I'm normally not one to rate low unless the other player is completely useless
2009-09-21 17:04:14 - phantomzero: but to rate me 3 stars when my team has won 2-0 against your team???
2009-09-21 17:04:59 - phantomzero: I will change it after this game though, as I agree it isn't a fair rating of your overall play in these games... perhaps you will change your rating too?
2009-09-21 17:21:02 - TheBro: So..... Yours was retaliatory? Good one
2009-09-21 17:35:14 - TheBro: Is that fair play or attitude? ;)
2009-09-21 17:56:54 - phantomzero: can't we all just get along? Velve is a great player and I already said that I was going to change my rating after this game...
2009-09-21 20:06:11 - Velvecarrots: I will change my rating for you to a 4 in gameplay. Hard to tell how you played in Discworld because of the tog, and this game obviously we can't see anything. But I haven't seen any odd moves
2009-09-21 20:08:57 - Velvecarrots: The Lux map is small, and luck does play a big factor. But because it is such a small map, there are very few armies on the board, and every army is important. Roll a 2 dice vs. 2 dice attack usually results in the attacker wasting 2 precious armies
2009-09-21 20:10:40 - Velvecarrots: I guess I feel that you relied on luck too much, and though it worked out for you in that game, 2v2 attacks compromise your gameplay.
2009-09-21 23:23:47 - phantomzero: thanks for the response. I understand where you are coming from
2009-09-21 23:24:27 - phantomzero: I'm quite certain that I didn't attack 2-2, but I would have attacked 2-1 for sure
2009-09-21 23:24:55 - phantomzero: I appreciate the fact that you actually do look at players' gameplay and actually rate accordingly
2009-09-22 03:34:52 - Chariot of Fire: A 5 stack in Lux went thru 2,1,2 (i.e. 4v2, 3v1, 2v2) and won every roll. I don't miss much either ;-)
2009-09-22 03:36:17 - Chariot of Fire: Truth be told you're both right (and I'm glad you're making the peace). A 2v2 is usually a foolish move, tho I think even I would consider it if it meant the elimination of an opponent, which in this case it did.
2009-09-22 04:35:08 - Velvecarrots: It was a ballsy move. It did pay off. But since it was such a small map, 2 armies were really important!
2009-09-22 04:36:06 - Velvecarrots: I can see the argument for going for it, but it's too risky for my blood
2009-09-22 16:35:14 - phantomzero: It was a risky move, and one that I wouldn't try often, but I think it was 5v2, 4v1, 3v2... either way it was ballsy...
2009-09-23 03:17:05 - Velvecarrots: I think we're saying the same thing, but counting it differently. Yes, that is how the attacks went down, with the final 3v2 meaning 2 attacking dice vs. 2 defending dice
2009-09-23 05:36:05 - Aradhus: Velve for Arad
2009-09-23 22:13:22 - phantomzero: Velve. Agreed. A ballsy move that paid off, but really should rarely if ever be used.
2009-09-28 00:23:33 - Erland: GG Velvecarrots and Aradhus
2009-09-28 14:53:09 - phantomzero: gg team 2
2009-09-29 17:13:37 - phantomzero: gg everyone
