2009-03-12 19:28:19 - TheKidsTrumpet: sorry guys my internet was down for 8 hours yesterday
2009-03-14 02:33:21 - TheKidsTrumpet: KidWhisky in for thekidstrumpet
2009-03-23 17:05:31 - denominator: hmmmm
2009-03-23 17:05:54 - denominator: i just realize i could hand red the game, but make it more beneficial to take green out first.
2009-03-23 17:06:05 - denominator: thus moving myself along in the tournament.
2009-03-23 17:07:43 - denominator: i can't take out green myself, but if i ran all my big stacks into green's big stacks and left red's big stacks access to green, it could would leave green easy picking for red.
2009-03-23 17:07:56 - denominator: red would win next round, but i'd be in the finals.
2009-03-23 17:08:05 - denominator: it's sooooo dirty, but kinda tempting.
2009-03-24 14:49:10 - pogophiles: Would have been a sound play, IMO blue.
2009-03-24 14:50:08 - pogophiles: Although, it looks like there's a chance Red may miss the next turn (down to 2 hours or so now) which would have reaqlly sucked if you'd tried that!
2009-03-24 15:03:54 - TheKidsTrumpet: haha, I totally feel ya on that
2009-03-24 21:09:30 - denominator: i'm actually suprised none of us have tried to make alliances yet.
2009-03-24 21:09:38 - denominator: because if two of us team up, we go 1v1 in the finals.
2009-03-25 14:48:27 - pogophiles: Just speaking in general, I'm much more likely to do an alliance in a game with more players than this...
2009-03-25 16:39:02 - denominator: true. i'm just saying it would be easy for two of us to say "you know what, i want to go to the finals". let's team up and kill X.
2009-03-25 16:39:19 - denominator: sometimes tournament strategy gets in the way of game strategy.
2009-03-26 15:33:36 - pogophiles: Agreed.
2009-03-26 19:47:20 - denominator: either of you ever play in the Map Blaster series?
2009-03-27 15:56:35 - pogophiles: Yes. I was runnerup in the 2nd one...
2009-03-27 16:03:45 - pogophiles: Colson won, IIRC...
2009-03-27 16:05:25 - pogophiles: I just went back and checked -- we were in the same group at the start of that one...
2009-03-27 16:05:53 - pogophiles: Good series, just too time-consuming...
2009-03-27 17:46:55 - denominator: Yeah, they changed the rules in the new one so you have to take at least one card in every game to get points.
2009-03-27 17:48:04 - denominator: because some guy managed to make it all the way to the finals just by deploying his 3 troops every turn, so he was never worth taking out.
2009-03-27 17:48:30 - denominator: he lost 80 something games, but got 7 points in every one for the tournament.
2009-03-27 21:22:06 - pogophiles: I can see how that would work, but why in the world would you want to play that many joy-less games at once?
2009-03-27 21:22:36 - pogophiles: Some people just have no sense of fun... ;^)
2009-03-29 17:28:57 - denominator: well and that would work until you get to the finals... you could never win like that.
2009-03-29 17:29:55 - denominator: well boys, i'm going to fuck some shit up this round.
2009-03-29 17:43:06 - denominator: good game guys.
