Standard |
In a standard game each player fends for himself and there is only one winner. |
Automatic |
Regions are randomly distributed at the start of the game and each region starts with three troops. |
Sequential |
A player is selected at random to go first and then subsequent players follow in turn. During a team game the play order alternates between the teams. |
Escalating |
At the end of your turn if you have conquered at least one region you get 'spoils.' Once you have three of the same color (or three different) these can be traded in at the start of your turn for bonus troops. Escalating Spoils indicates that each set traded in will be worth more than the previous. The first set is worth 4 bonus troops. Then 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25 etc. If you own any of the regions that you trade in you get two bonus troops on those regions. |
Chained |
At the end of your turn you can reinforce once from one region to another (they must be connected by regions that you own). |
No |
Fog of War masks enemy positions that are not adjacent to your forces (or your team's forces). It also masks region and zone names in the log |
No |
You can only assault from regions held since the start of your turn. If you conquer a region during your turn you cannot assault from it until your next turn. |
None |
|
24 Hours |
Each player has up to 24 hours to complete a turn. You will get an email notification when it is your turn to play. |

2009-02-28 14:33:29 - pogophiles: I know. As was I. Hence the ;^)
2009-02-28 15:52:17 - ZionT: I suppose you're right, but I can't exactly give up can I and since you don't want me to win, that's basically end game
2009-03-02 03:47:09 - pogophiles: sorry about the missed turn...
2009-03-03 00:43:50 - Bones2484: Didnt even notice, pogo :)
2009-03-03 20:40:31 - Bones2484: Hmmm
2009-03-03 20:40:37 - Bones2484: No where easy to attack :(
2009-03-03 20:41:55 - Bones2484: You guys gave me a taste of my own medicine, there!
2009-03-03 21:24:52 - ZionT: I'm noticing a distinct trend here, last 5 turns it's pogo attacks ZionT, Bones attacks ZionT, any give guys?
2009-03-03 21:36:03 - pogophiles: You mean, with you having nearly a 2,000 army lead, we should give you a break?
2009-03-03 21:41:45 - Bones2484: Until my last turn, I'd only been taking 1 army from you each turn!! But I do agree with Pogo.
2009-03-03 21:52:50 - ZionT: really that's funny pogo, when I added the numbers I have 400 more troops than you... maybe you should do a quick recount
2009-03-03 22:02:39 - pogophiles: Wasn't trying to be funny.
2009-03-03 22:03:08 - pogophiles: It happened to be true at the time I posted, which was just before I took my turn (and cashed in a set of cards)...
2009-03-03 22:05:30 - pogophiles: Right now you have 14,845 to my 13,381 (a difference of 1,464) and Bones has 10,578 ( a diff of 4,267)...
2009-03-03 22:05:57 - pogophiles: But it was a nice try...
2009-03-03 22:13:59 - Bones2484: I think Zion must have missed the 1 in front of his 400, because I was seeing 1400 more than pogo as well.
2009-03-03 23:07:56 - ZionT: okay, I may have miscounted, not on purpose, sorry
2009-03-03 23:20:56 - pogophiles: No worries. BOB is your friend...
2009-03-04 00:44:06 - barterer2002: You guys are holding up my tournament :D
2009-03-04 16:41:42 - Bones2484: No no. The map is holding up the tournament!
2009-03-04 16:41:53 - Bones2484: I've tried to end it a few times. :)
2009-03-04 18:04:12 - barterer2002: all the other games on this map have finished, you're the last one. And there is a liklihood of a tiebreaker after this game
2009-03-04 21:01:42 - Bones2484: Well that was nice. Lost like 500 taking 1400.
2009-03-04 21:17:04 - ZionT: that's allright, i lost quite a bit taking your quite a bit, i'd say over 4000, so now you can beat down on pogo for having the most troops
2009-03-05 04:37:52 - ZionT: and pogo, i think it would be appropriate to beat down on yourself since you have the most troops
2009-03-05 18:23:50 - Bones2484: That seemed silly.
2009-03-05 18:30:02 - ZionT: i'm not going to sit here all game and get attacked by both of you for 4000 troops per turn, I'm just trying to get this game moving
2009-03-05 18:31:28 - ZionT: correction 300 - 1000
2009-03-06 03:41:10 - Bones2484: I understand.
2009-03-06 03:41:39 - Bones2484: I mean, if I were in the lead by thousands of armies I would be annoyed at being the center of attention as well.
2009-03-09 23:14:13 - ZionT: at least this game is finally moving
2009-03-09 23:14:22 - ZionT: very much in the way you want now bones hu?
2009-03-09 23:31:48 - Bones2484: Only partially. Like I said, I wish I could win it. But... I think that's a fool's hope.
2009-03-11 22:21:48 - pogophiles: Perhaps I should just let him win, Zion. What do you think?
2009-03-11 22:40:49 - ZionT: That's up to you, if that's your move, that's your move
2009-03-11 22:42:26 - ZionT: I know if that were me, you wouldn't let me win
2009-03-11 22:45:39 - pogophiles: True. And I know that I would not have counted on the other guy noticing that the objective was at risk and taking care of it for me.
2009-03-11 22:49:20 - pogophiles: Hmmm. That might be overstating it a bit. Certainly it would not be my normal course of action, let us say.
2009-03-11 22:50:56 - ZionT: I'm no mastermind, it was just not enough troops for it to be that much of a risk in my opinion. However; I certainly left the game up to you.
2009-03-12 00:01:58 - ZionT: at least this time I sacrificed more of my troops than you'll have to give up if you so choose
2009-03-12 01:13:13 - Bones2484: What did you sacrifice against me?
2009-03-12 01:13:23 - Bones2484: Oh I see.
2009-03-12 01:13:32 - Bones2484: Dont mind me! Carry on!
2009-03-12 03:12:24 - ZionT: lol
2009-03-12 12:45:11 - pogophiles: Bad move. I'm tired, bored and the tournament needs to move forward. GG all & enjoy your win Bones.
2009-03-12 12:53:43 - pogophiles: You might recall that I mentioned how much I disliked this kind of game earlier in the chat. I wasn't just saying that to make idle conversation.
2009-03-12 13:01:30 - ZionT: well, gg
2009-03-12 13:34:56 - ZionT: well played everyone: Bones wins! (and you thought you couldn't)
2009-03-12 16:05:09 - indy62: Ugg.. Seriously
2009-03-12 16:05:28 - indy62: Oh well. Good tourney. Good luck bones.
