2008-11-19 01:12:43 - Avaris: good luck
2008-11-19 01:16:04 - denominator: good luck to you too
2008-11-19 01:17:46 - Avaris: the dice hate me :(
2008-11-19 02:39:05 - denominator: they seem to come and go for me
2008-11-19 02:39:27 - denominator: i'll have a streak of unstoppable dice, then 2 days later not win any rolls
2008-11-19 02:39:50 - denominator: they're kinda a big deal in 1v1 on this map though
2008-11-19 11:42:05 - Avaris: yeah, the trouble with this one is that whoever goes first gets an extra army
2008-11-19 20:12:45 - denominator: that tends to be why i pick it... it's all about counting territories and making sure your opponent has less than 12 at the end of your turn
2008-11-19 20:13:56 - denominator: most people miss that and leave territiories with 1 army open so even if you go second you can make up the difference
2008-11-19 22:54:11 - Avaris: ah well, next time I choose settings...
2008-11-20 00:57:39 - denominator: as long as you don't pick a strange bonus map like waterloo or feudal war i'll be happy
2008-11-20 09:27:55 - Avaris: heh, waterloo is actually quite fun...
2008-11-20 09:28:09 - Avaris: nah, it'll be extreme global warming I think
2008-11-20 09:46:40 - denominator: i've never played a 1v1 game on global warming
2008-11-20 09:47:01 - denominator: should be interesting - and you just gained respect in my books by not picking a dickish map
2008-11-20 10:13:23 - Avaris: glad to hear it
2008-11-20 10:14:03 - Avaris: global warming is an interesting map in 1v1... I was most annoyed not to win it in the Bring it on Tournament
