2008-11-10 21:16:37 - geigerm: Best of luck
2008-11-10 21:23:54 - pogophiles: u2
2008-11-12 14:36:42 - geigerm: Sorry about the miss--had a rough day and simply couldn't get here.
2008-11-12 14:38:38 - pogophiles: No problem -- it happens...
2008-11-12 14:38:50 - pogophiles: Hope today is a better one!!
2008-11-12 14:40:15 - pogophiles: Holy crap, what an awful run of dice!
2008-11-12 14:45:26 - geigerm: Geez, that must have been bad if you deployed 5 and didn't take anything ...
2008-11-12 15:07:09 - geigerm: I suddenly don't feel quite as bad for you there ...
2008-11-12 15:08:44 - pogophiles: I think I got some makeup rolls... ;^)
2008-11-12 15:10:29 - geigerm: Heh, I didn't think that possibility existed. Usually, when my dice go bad, they're terrible until I'm so far out of it I can't possibly come back!
2008-11-12 15:28:00 - pogophiles: What is it with frickin' Belzoni!!
2008-11-12 15:31:22 - geigerm: I don't know, but I had a heck of a time trying to get to it this round myself.
2008-11-12 16:02:10 - geigerm: Are you getting the feeling this game may never end? ;-)
2008-11-12 16:21:10 - pogophiles: It's certainly looking that way. Someone will get a hot streak (or a really bad streak) with the dice and a tipping point will be reached....
2008-11-12 16:31:18 - pogophiles: Time to force the issue...
2008-11-12 16:31:46 - pogophiles: Do you feel lucky?
2008-11-12 16:42:05 - geigerm: Yup, I clearly do ... when you can attack 11v7 and come out with 9 armies, you're incredibly lucky
2008-11-12 16:43:36 - pogophiles: Yikes. I believe this was that tipping point I referred to earlier. Well played!
2008-11-12 16:46:49 - geigerm: Thanks, but I gotta believe that was just pure dumb luck. And I'm afraid we're far from being done with this one ...
2008-11-12 16:50:57 - pogophiles: No -- we were to the point where all it takes now is one round of bad rolls. Which I just had. Now, unless you experience the same this round, it's all downhill from here.
2008-11-12 16:54:26 - geigerm: Well, I certainly hope you're right.
2008-11-12 17:02:09 - pogophiles: Wow, I managed to screw that up. I meant to fort and instead assaulted again, losing an army I could ill afford...
2008-11-12 18:38:08 - pogophiles: gg, well played!
2008-11-12 18:39:32 - geigerm: Thanks--this has been one heck of a battle!
2008-11-12 18:48:19 - geigerm: Sorry I couldn't finish it, but your army on Amente B has exceptional defensive ability ...
2008-11-12 18:49:49 - geigerm: gg
2008-11-12 18:49:58 - pogophiles: That seems somehow fitting for this struggle... ;^)
