Standard |
In a standard game each player fends for himself and there is only one winner. |
Automatic |
Regions are randomly distributed at the start of the game and each region starts with three troops. |
Sequential |
A player is selected at random to go first and then subsequent players follow in turn. During a team game the play order alternates between the teams. |
Flat Rate |
At the end of your turn if you have conquered at least one region you get 'spoils.' Once you have three of the same color (or three different) these can be traded in at the start of your turn for bonus troops. A set of three reds is worth four bonus troops. Three greens is worth six and three blues is worth 8. A set of three different colors is worth ten bonus troops. If you own any of the regions that you trade-in you get two bonus troops on those regions. |
Unlimited |
At the end of your turn you can reinforce as many times as you like between regions that are connected. |
No |
Fog of War masks enemy positions that are not adjacent to your forces (or your team's forces). It also masks region and zone names in the log |
No |
You can only assault from regions held since the start of your turn. If you conquer a region during your turn you cannot assault from it until your next turn. |
None |

24 Hours |
Each player has up to 24 hours to complete a turn. You will get an email notification when it is your turn to play. |

2007-10-01 11:01:39 - MeDeFe gained 96 points
2007-08-06 10:33:02 - MeDeFe: well, better safe than sorry.
2007-08-13 03:25:31 - AAFitz: in the first 50 rounds there was 5 times as much chat, than in the last 100...what has changed I wonder?
2007-08-13 05:56:12 - MeDeFe: 3 players less in the game?
2007-08-19 22:35:51 - AAFitz: i was more referring to me not being in the game
2007-08-20 07:01:29 - MeDeFe: As well as two others.
2007-08-23 20:17:23 - MeDeFe: Sorry for those missed turns, I came back from a holiday trip and was without internet access.
2007-08-27 08:07:24 - MeDeFe: Matt, I've been thinking about it, but I don't quite see why you took Center D, it's not as if those 70something armies there had been a threat to you. You don't get a higher bonus and instead of less than 80 armies you now have almost 380 at your border.
2007-08-28 07:13:19 - Matt2006: MeDeFe...I hope this game will end someday and if we do nothing, it won´t. I love to play games, but this one is becoming a burden. 100 rounds before it was stalemate. Not is becoming ridiculous
2007-08-28 07:13:45 - Matt2006: Now is becoming ridiculous
2007-08-28 09:27:27 - MeDeFe: Well, we could always agree to use all armies we get for attacking, if everyone does it things might change.
2007-08-28 11:35:23 - Selin: :) i cant see a place to attack with abaout 10+ armies that we get each turn
2007-08-28 15:38:24 - Matt2006: I am open to any suggestion
2007-08-28 21:45:25 - MeDeFe: I can see 8 places you could attack with those armies.
2007-08-29 17:34:33 - Selin: but you have only 4 places to attack, that's unfair...
2007-08-29 17:35:25 - Selin: correction > 6 places
2007-08-29 20:32:54 - MeDeFe: That's easy to remedy, you just need to give me CenterX, then we'll all have the same number of territories to attack.
2007-08-31 11:12:34 - Matt2006: so, what do you propose to brea the stalemate?
2007-08-31 20:22:22 - MeDeFe: Everyone uses all the armies he gets to attack. Easy as pie.
2007-08-31 23:48:00 - Selin: no, i have a big advantage in this game. i get 1 army more each turn :))
2007-09-01 17:20:34 - Matt2006: 100 armies each, two rounds, winner gets the game, the others miss turns
2007-09-01 19:34:09 - MeDeFe: eh, what?
2007-09-01 19:41:06 - Selin: The others are coming :)))
2007-09-01 19:44:32 - Selin: i hope you both watched the famous TV serie named LOST to understand my statement above
2007-09-02 16:20:57 - MeDeFe: nope, never watched it.
2007-09-03 11:52:14 - Matt2006: I am quitting CC because of games like this. It´s nobody´s fault but playing is less and less fun.
2007-09-03 12:53:09 - MeDeFe: Well, I proposed a way that might resolve this, I haven't seen a serious comment on it so far. But speaking from experience I can say that it works.
2007-09-03 20:30:47 - Selin: you don't need to quit cc because of this. just don't join no card games, because they typically last many months.
2007-09-06 11:01:47 - Matt2006: flat rate, no-cards, escalating, all of them are becoming boring
2007-09-06 11:02:04 - Matt2006: so what do we do to deal with the stealmate?
2007-09-06 12:51:08 - MeDeFe: Everyone uses the armies he gets every round to attack. In other words, you end your turn with fewer armies than you started it with.
2007-09-07 07:56:48 - Matt2006: this is going to last for ever too... and also we have to spend 5 mins counting our armies and the other players´
2007-09-07 13:34:00 - MeDeFe: In my experience it's a pretty quick way.
2007-09-10 12:41:17 - MeDeFe: If Matt comes back I will put the armies back as they were (except for all those small groups)
2007-09-10 14:45:39 - Selin: I think he will. This is his only game where he missed his turns, highly probable intentionally
2007-09-10 14:46:18 - Selin: During the last two days he made all his moves in his other games.
2007-09-10 14:47:58 - Selin: I prepared myself to attack the one who attacks me first :)
2007-09-12 09:23:09 - Matt2006: this is becoming more and more surreal... I quit.
2007-09-12 19:48:46 - Selin: lol, I agree
2007-09-16 13:52:23 - Selin: maybe we should ask a mod to change the setting of this game to "no card" :)
2007-09-16 13:53:11 - Selin: at least we can have an argument, if someone asks why we don't attack each other.... :)))
2007-09-23 02:31:36 - AAFitz: Actually, he completely deadbeated out of the game he was in with us....I do believe he's leaving forever
2007-09-23 02:32:11 - AAFitz: though I still do hope medefe takes this home... I cant have died in vain
2007-09-25 12:57:56 - MeDeFe: You think it would be dishonourable if you hadn't been killed by the winner?
2007-09-25 18:45:45 - Selin: yes, that's what he means :)
2007-09-29 17:08:17 - MeDeFe: You're quite sneaky Selin.
2007-10-01 10:53:49 - MeDeFe: ok, here goes nothing
2007-10-01 11:02:38 - MeDeFe: gg guys.
2007-10-01 17:18:43 - MeDeFe: I left you all some feedback btw.
2007-10-05 00:34:02 - AAFitz: I TOLD YOU SO...haha... gg guys
2007-10-05 19:24:19 - MeDeFe: And all in haiku form, too.
