2008-08-08 06:54:43 - Phlaim: Good luck :)
2008-08-08 15:39:06 - geigerm: Same to you
2008-08-08 15:55:12 - Phlaim: this is a tough game.. you had a better drop than me, I had the advantage of taking first turn, and the dice seem to be even... hmm. it's nice so far
2008-08-08 16:31:05 - geigerm: Agreed, this is a very good one. And I'm glad for it, 'cause I'm pretty sure I've already lost our other game!
2008-08-08 18:03:49 - Phlaim: Yeah, I think so too... cards will matter a lot here, and so far I'm lucky with them.
2008-08-08 18:37:37 - geigerm: Ugh, that just might do it. I'm hoping I can hold on long enough to get a mixed set of my own and hopefully turn the tide a bit.
2008-08-08 18:38:56 - geigerm: This game definitely reinforces my belief that 1v1 should never be played with flat rate cards--simple luck can turn the whole game
2008-08-08 18:39:52 - geigerm: Not that I'm complaining too loudly--I've certainly won my fair share of flat rate 1v1 games with a well-timed set.
2008-08-08 18:45:55 - Phlaim: Personally I think no cards, chained/adjacent is the most fair setting for 1v1.
2008-08-08 18:50:19 - Phlaim: A mixed set and some dice from your side 'might' turn this one aswell... but I hope not. xD
2008-08-08 18:51:49 - geigerm: Heh ... I wouldn't worry about it at this point. Anything I can do will be too little, too late.
2008-08-08 18:51:59 - geigerm: Best of luck in the next round of the tourney!
2008-08-08 18:56:31 - Phlaim: Yeah, think it's too late for a change now aswell. Thanks for keeping such a nice attitude! Always appreciated.
2008-08-08 19:02:42 - geigerm: No problem. It's a game; it should be fun.
2008-08-08 19:03:01 - geigerm: I've never understood players who get all bent out of shape about CC
2008-08-08 19:03:27 - geigerm: Oh, and I definitely agree with you on the best 1v1 settings. Shame we couldn't have used those (although you might have very well whupped me anyway!)
2008-08-08 19:04:33 - Phlaim: Sometimes I get angry as 'ell on this game. But I reckon it's a part of the game sometimes, haha.
2008-08-08 19:06:24 - geigerm: Heh ... yeah, absolutely. But you at least don't seem like the type who might take out your anger on other players
2008-08-08 19:07:17 - Phlaim: Hope I'm not becoming that way. Good game!
2008-08-08 19:07:37 - geigerm: Thanks--you too!
