2024-03-01 15:40:00 - Caymanmew: gl :)
2024-03-01 16:05:08 - plurple: sorry for forgetting to give you credit in the announcement post :)
2024-03-01 16:05:11 - plurple: GL :D
2024-03-01 16:20:04 - Caymanmew: All good, didn't bother me all that much, i am just happy things on the map side are moving finally, both with this map and other maps. i know i got that going, but i haven't done much to help past giving the initial push.
2024-03-01 16:20:22 - Caymanmew: Credit wasn't my goal, new maps were and that working out great. :)
2024-03-01 16:22:59 - plurple: I'm trying :D
2024-03-01 16:23:18 - plurple: but my other 4 maps are a ways off coming to live need to balance them a lot
2024-03-01 16:34:20 - Caymanmew: Balance is tough, especially with your new maps, which one do you like best? If i find some time i'll try and think through some balance changes on it for you to consider. Balancing is probably what i'm best at in the map making process.
2024-03-01 16:35:51 - plurple: I have changes I need to do to all of them but getting the time is tough I have closed them for now untill I can make the changes
2024-03-01 16:36:36 - plurple: Triangle seems the most balanced and most peoples favourite.
2024-03-01 16:36:56 - plurple: I like hex the most but is way to momentus currently so need to half the amounts gained.
2024-03-01 16:37:13 - plurple: Circle I kind of hate so may rework it again to make it smaller
2024-03-01 16:37:35 - plurple: and square is the most complicated
2024-03-01 16:38:38 - plurple: it is also tough as I was having to play all of the games to get any feedback and that is a lot so going to try making small auto tournaments on the beta site when I have made the changes
2024-03-01 16:39:08 - plurple: 4-8 players so if you are able to join that when ready that would be great
2024-03-01 17:44:06 - Caymanmew: I'd suggest just working on one, i suspect once you balance 1, the others will be much easier to balance.
2024-03-01 17:44:47 - Caymanmew: The trick is building it so they you can comeback from being behind, in ways other then just dice.
2024-03-01 17:46:35 - Caymanmew: Maybe for triangle you can give a bonus for holding all 3 points (P/O/A) and a bonus for holding all three intersections (AP/AO/OP). Nothing big but just something to work towards to get some extra troops
2024-03-02 16:34:59 - plurple: not sure if balancing 1 ould help with the others as they are all different
2024-03-02 16:35:19 - plurple: but it's the art changes that take the time not code ones :D
2024-03-02 16:36:16 - plurple: don't think the corners need help as they are the important territories to really accelerate your troop gain :D
2024-03-08 19:26:33 - plurple: Well GG with that stack :D
2024-03-08 21:12:52 - Caymanmew: gg'
