2017-09-06 17:21:56 - CPD SARGE: Well howdy folks! Lets all mosey up to the bar for a stiff drink and some dice slinging! :-P
2017-09-06 20:21:05 - tamaynet: Welcome all and good luck.
2017-09-07 01:49:38 - bobbythomson: Make mine a double single malt scotch, neat. Great to get this one off the ground!!
2017-09-08 06:26:59 - Silly Knig-it: gl, and who is the student here?
2017-09-08 11:07:22 - bobbythomson: Did not know we needed a student!
2017-09-08 11:07:41 - bobbythomson: But I am always learning.
2017-09-08 13:55:38 - CPD SARGE: Same here bobbythompson. Jameson, Ginger Ale, and a splash of lime here. What is the drink of choice for you other good folk?
2017-09-08 16:40:25 - Blue Raja: I am the student. Am I the only one? I'll have a rye and ginger with lime. Better make it a double. And keep'em coming bartender!
2017-09-08 19:56:12 - tamaynet: Manhattan on the rocks for me. Also a double. I hope that you guys can "school" me in this one....lol
2017-09-08 22:23:03 - mackadoo: I like a good pint of Guiness! Or Jack and coke is tasty too!
2017-09-09 19:57:18 - bobbythomson: Blue Raja, I am not not a student nor a teacher either, but am a graduate from SOC basic.
2017-09-09 19:57:42 - bobbythomson: Some of these other guys were my teachers, so you are with an experienced bunch.
2017-09-25 01:50:57 - bobbythomson: As a student of this game, Sarge, I would like to know if you intentionally missed those two turns to get superior numbers this turn?
2017-09-25 01:51:29 - bobbythomson: I have thought about that tactic before and suspected others of using it.
2017-09-25 02:06:06 - CPD SARGE: No im just busy with "honey do's" this weekend and lost track of time. / didn't check my games as much
2017-09-25 02:06:54 - CPD SARGE: It could seem good to get bonus but I think it makes you weaker in a terminator game because others get more cards
2017-09-25 02:07:21 - CPD SARGE: What do the rest of y'all think on the matter?
2017-09-25 15:34:45 - Blue Raja: I didn't think it was a tactic so much as a forgotten game, and I did post the question in the SoC training forum as this is a training game for me. I was trying to decide whether or not to turn in my spoils last round and take all of O and A7.
2017-09-25 15:37:02 - Blue Raja: If Sarge did not return to the game would his terts become neutral and the spoils forfeit? If that was the case, it was not worth using the troops. Now that Sarge is back, he does have the bonus, but has missed out on two spoils which would come in handy
2017-09-25 15:40:02 - Blue Raja: I would not use the "miss a turn" tactic for more than one round, and only early in the game to see where others are committing troops and then have the advantage of creating a bigger stack where needed. - Anyway, glad to see you are back Sarge.
2017-09-25 15:40:28 - Blue Raja: And good question bobbythompson.
2017-09-26 17:00:36 - bobbythomson: I have never used that tactic, don't actually think it is effective.
2017-09-26 17:01:09 - bobbythomson: no "P" in Thomson - we are the dry Thomsons, we don't "P" in our family
2017-09-26 17:02:22 - bobbythomson: The territories become neutral if one is eliminated for missing too many turns and I believe the cards just disappear.
2017-09-27 19:36:25 - Blue Raja: Well bobby with the dry P, here's your chance. My dice on my lat stack were terrible and I was already committed at that point. Sorry mackadoo. gg Silly.
2017-09-28 14:12:03 - bobbythomson: I should ave been able to take Tamaynet with proper planning. Now I have to hope he doesn't have a set.
2017-09-28 16:39:23 - Blue Raja: Good game all. Congrats Dry bobby!
2017-09-28 17:14:42 - CPD SARGE: Well played all.
2017-09-28 21:00:49 - tamaynet: Well done bobby. Even with a set, you would still win since the set is only worth 55.
2017-09-28 21:45:46 - bobbythomson: you taught me this one, T!! Thanks. GG
2017-09-29 10:50:14 - bobbythomson: gg everyone - thanks!
