2016-03-25 14:51:40 - archieball: for*
2016-03-26 00:14:42 - archieball: Not sure that was a good move on your end yellow. Bonus hunting only hurts you now
2016-03-26 00:59:19 - jcmagno: congrats Carl!
2016-03-26 01:00:29 - jcmagno: lol... wasn't for the bonus... (i think)
2016-03-26 02:40:23 - Clanlord Carl: Was considering a kill needed visibilty
2016-03-26 02:40:31 - Clanlord Carl: Bottled out
2016-03-26 18:01:06 - jalijoo: Sorry Archie. Although I agree with you that Carl's move was questionable, I really needed that information.
2016-03-26 21:31:40 - archieball: All good jalijoo. Carl's move may not have been for the bonus (which he stated), but I do believe he picked one up...
2016-03-26 22:24:41 - Clanlord Carl: Is there an etiquette point about fog and discussing what you can see ?
2016-03-27 10:09:48 - jalijoo: I've never seen anything written down but it stands to reason that someone wouldn't be very popular if they started broadcasting the positions of others.
2016-03-27 10:13:52 - jalijoo: I've only ever seen inexperienced players do it by mistake but I guess there might be some tactical reason to do it in certain situations (e.g. as part of a truce arrangement maybe ?)
2016-03-27 10:15:32 - jalijoo: What kind of situation were you thinking about Carl ?
2016-03-27 10:48:01 - Donelladan: it really depends on people
2016-03-27 10:48:08 - Donelladan: I find it 100% ok to reveal anything you want in a fog game
2016-03-27 10:48:40 - Donelladan: but I only use this when there is actually diplomacy involved, meaning usually in flat rate, no spoils or nuclear game
2016-03-27 10:48:56 - Donelladan: never in an escalating game in which I see pointless to reveal other's people position
2016-03-27 10:49:25 - Donelladan: except if it is to prevent someone to kill you, like you can definitely say " someone need to protect me or XXX will kill me" and you may even ask someone to take a specific region on the map
2016-03-27 10:50:11 - Donelladan: this is only my opinion ofc, I know some people that find it very bad to reveal troops count and positiion in a fog game
2016-03-27 10:51:01 - Donelladan: but I think fog games can include this kind of tactic because you can also lie, deceive people about other's people strength
2016-03-27 11:05:49 - Clanlord Carl: Guys I might be clueless but I dont see how this can end quickly as troops for each card id far less than troops needed to kill anyone.
2016-03-27 11:06:25 - Clanlord Carl: So unless we start creating alliances to kill folks game wont end
2016-03-27 11:37:40 - jalijoo: As the player with the biggest troop income, you should be happy to let game play out to 30 rounds.
2016-03-27 11:39:06 - jalijoo: But as the sets start to get huge after 100, it won't be a problem for long.
2016-03-27 17:32:16 - archieball: Carl, once cards hit around 200, then it will end without alliances...
2016-03-27 17:32:29 - archieball: In no way do i see this going 30 rounds
2016-03-28 12:11:43 - hayesez: I think that this would have been much more fun had it been "no spoils"
2016-03-29 15:09:59 - archieball: I think no spoils turns into stackfests too quickly. People get too afraid to attack once they pick up bonuses and just deploy and sit
2016-03-29 15:10:32 - archieball: With this game, at least the rising spoils will eventually lead to someone winning one way or another
2016-03-29 15:10:53 - archieball: That being, someone being noobed, or someone actually taking someone out and running the board
2016-04-02 10:49:24 - Clanlord Carl: Sadly do the maths
2016-04-02 10:50:18 - Clanlord Carl: Each person has @250 men five cards from a kill currently worth 150
2016-04-02 10:50:40 - Clanlord Carl: There will be no takeouts
2016-04-02 10:59:11 - Clanlord Carl: I did the maths on a pink kill for example
2016-04-02 16:38:07 - archieball: archer3base for archieball
2016-04-04 06:41:17 - Donelladan: i assume you were not aware of how the spoils increase after 100
2016-04-04 06:42:55 - Donelladan: gg all
2016-04-04 12:58:57 - hayesez: very well played! Congrats
