2015-12-04 04:05:45 - rockfist: Out of curiousity, what is it you find fun about this board?
2015-12-04 04:50:08 - rousseau72: we find your curiosity fun about this board :)
2015-12-04 04:56:20 - rockfist: my curiousity will only last so long ;)
2015-12-04 23:19:38 - stealth99: rock, to answer your question, "fun" wasn't one of the considerations that factored into the choice. No doubt, this thing is all business and zero entertainment.
2015-12-05 01:00:18 - rockfist: Interesting, I'll have to think about that.
2015-12-05 17:34:55 - rockfist: That's too bad you don't find your home maps fun.
2015-12-05 17:36:12 - rockfist: I guess we just have to beat you often enough on them and then you'll choose different ones
2015-12-07 19:18:41 - aad0906: Huh what, is this game supposed to be fun? Damn, in that case I want my money back. I just use the game to beat people up because in real life I can't. Never knew people have fun playing this.
2015-12-07 19:22:10 - rockfist: I look like I can beat people up in RL (since I powerlift) but in reality all I can do is lift heavy stuff - I don't know how to fight.
2015-12-08 23:08:34 - aad0906: LOL well I have the capability to beat people up in RL but that is not very nice plus I would get arrested. But just kidding I agree there are maps that are more fun to play than this one.
2015-12-08 23:09:51 - stealth99: sorry rock i missed your followup. I didn't say that I don't find my homemaps fun. Winning is always fun. So by choosing maps you are more likely to win, leads to more fun.
2015-12-08 23:10:05 - aad0906: Certain maps have an "optimal strategy" and if you play it that way you will always win unless against a player that applies the same strategy. Then it's really just a luck factor.
2015-12-08 23:10:28 - stealth99: Plus, we are in a competitive league as opposed to a fun league. If you don't win you don't eat. Isn't that the way it works in your clan?
2015-12-08 23:10:58 - aad0906: like New World or Antarctica or Pelo Wars. That's why I like "tricky maps" like Stalingrad or Gazala.
2015-12-09 00:24:14 - rockfist: Something like that.
2015-12-09 00:30:27 - rockfist: If there is no requirement of "reading the drop" a map is luck based in my opinion. It becomes a probability equation.
2015-12-10 22:34:57 - stealth99: Totally agree, but knowing how to handle that is not luck.
2015-12-12 21:47:32 - stealth99: rock getting back to the conversation, this map does provide some interesting challenges and 'do or die' decisions at this stage, when the fight is initiated and control isn't clearly established by either team. But she's pretty dull getting here.
2015-12-12 21:55:20 - rockfist: Well, even though we gave up what little chance we had of winning you've filled in the one piece, we didnt grasp, now I hope to never play this map again as I do find it horribly boring. gg
2015-12-14 10:15:55 - Arama86n: gg, sorry about the miss.
