2015-11-02 21:49:27 - CaronylKluster: sometimes when my dice eat it that hard I think would've been better to just miss turn
2015-11-02 21:49:36 - CaronylKluster: LTRAIN for carony
2015-11-03 04:49:38 - Tennisie: That was hard, but not a record. Seven years ago I lost 78 zip on an auto-attack. CC's response to the ticket I submitted was "You were just unlucky."
2015-11-03 17:36:04 - Ltrain: I actually just searched for your thread, tennisie. I like your idea of multiplying everything by 10 behind the scenes (a la city mogul) to even things out a little. wouldn't want to take it too far a little randomness is good
2015-11-03 17:38:14 - Ltrain: also hilarious that the 2nd person to respond dropped the "pics or it didn't happen" crap. which a whoooole other issue. insert huge eye roll here
2015-11-03 17:47:20 - Ltrain: actually this has got to be my favorite quote from the thread by some random dude
2015-11-03 17:47:28 - Ltrain: "I think we should make dice with only 1 number on them. Unfortunately then the defender will always win, and we'll have to change the name of Conquer Club to the Defense Division."
2015-11-03 20:39:34 - Tennisie: After a lot more thought, I concluded that scheme wouldn't work reliably. Turns out the 3 dice vs 2 system is incredibly efficient and fair even tho streaky. Finding a better system is proving to be a significant challenge, but I haven't given up.
2015-11-03 20:41:34 - Tennisie: Yes, some randomness provides the "intermittent positive reinforcement" that keeps players coming back. But a while, most players realize how capricious the streakiness is. Some like it that way, but I prefer skill over luck.
2015-11-03 20:42:59 - Tennisie: I spend a good bit of time developing sophisticated strategies, only to see them casually dismissed by an unlucky streak.
2015-11-04 14:38:42 - celliottii: back from vacation...
2015-11-06 03:53:38 - CaronylKluster: well I got really lucky blue
2015-11-06 05:14:41 - Tennisie: That's the way it goes.
2015-11-07 01:34:01 - Ltrain: thats the way the quarterback fumbles er cookie crumbles
2015-11-11 03:40:24 - CaronylKluster: wow green hell of a time to put up a defense 11v6 and I took away none
2015-11-11 03:41:27 - CaronylKluster: guess that is payback
2015-11-11 17:53:50 - Lord Arioch: training is paying off then:)
2015-11-13 06:27:59 - The_Samurai: not against my warrior troops, green ;-)
