2013-11-13 16:27:09 - Dez Dispenser: hi
2013-11-13 18:52:16 - JDLH: Welcome to the game!
2013-11-14 06:42:38 - JDLH: Wow, how did you manage to break through two 10-piles and nearly wipe out my pile? Good fighting!
2013-11-14 06:45:41 - Dez Dispenser: i had about 85 v 100 which for attacking isn't too bad odds i believe
2013-11-14 06:46:19 - Dez Dispenser: i think a little luck favored me
2013-11-14 06:48:57 - Dez Dispenser: i have a question for you if that would be okay?
2013-11-14 16:29:04 - JDLH: Sure!
2013-11-14 16:33:47 - Dez Dispenser: how do you decide which castle to stack up on
2013-11-14 16:34:03 - Dez Dispenser: i generally understand that you want 1 stronger force and a weaker to aid if the first fails
2013-11-14 16:34:51 - Dez Dispenser: also, looking back at the game log, how come from turn 7 onwards you deployed your troops as 2 sets of 5 troops instead of 10
2013-11-14 16:34:56 - Dez Dispenser: what advantage does that give?
2013-11-14 16:34:59 - Dez Dispenser: thanks and good game
2013-11-14 16:42:18 - JDLH: Those are good questions. Most players don't speak up and ask.
2013-11-14 16:44:17 - JDLH: I stack up in kingdom most easily reached from other kingdoms. ie most likely to get attacked from other places, easiest to attack any other place.
2013-11-14 16:44:42 - JDLH: Four kingdoms south of river are more accessible than two kingdoms to north.
2013-11-14 16:45:26 - JDLH: Generally I want one force as powerful as possible, so that force gets everything. Other force gets only what is deployed on its castle.
2013-11-14 16:45:26 - Dez Dispenser: so in fact i lucked out by stacking at great kingdom that you just happened to be below?
2013-11-14 16:46:15 - JDLH: By playing 2 sets of 5, I make the log harder to read. One set of 10 is visible in log, and must have gone to one place. Two sets of 5 could go to same place, or different places.
2013-11-14 16:46:23 - Dez Dispenser: also, i initiated the attack, why didn't you doesn't the attacker have the advantage especially as the troop counts increase?
2013-11-14 16:46:32 - JDLH: Yes, you lucked out I think.
2013-11-14 16:46:36 - Dez Dispenser: aha very tricky
2013-11-14 16:47:25 - JDLH: Plus if you had an 85-pile, you got through a 10+10+90/100 pile, so that's pretty good work. I think a 23% chance of success.
2013-11-14 16:48:39 - Dez Dispenser: it was a 100 pile after going through the two 10's it was whittled down to 85
2013-11-14 16:49:15 - Dez Dispenser: thank you for your anwers and help
2013-11-14 16:49:25 - Dez Dispenser: i like this map i am trying it with different settings too
