2013-09-06 18:56:08 - General Roy: This looks like a fairly normal map, although I need to get to know the different areas.
2013-09-06 18:56:56 - General Roy: Interesting. The game log now gives us the no. of points for each player.
2013-09-06 23:22:58 - notyou2: Oh yeah, cool
2013-09-06 23:23:04 - notyou2: Have luck, good fun
2013-09-07 13:36:58 - General Roy: This game seems quite open, even though I have an advantage here.
2013-09-07 13:37:33 - General Roy: Or do I? I'm suddenly not so sure.
2013-09-07 13:40:36 - notyou2: I think I just lost
2013-09-07 13:42:40 - General Roy: It does look better for me now.
2013-09-07 13:45:35 - General Roy: These two other games are quite desicive for the outcome now.
2013-09-08 14:32:49 - notyou2: ye
2013-09-08 14:32:53 - notyou2: yes
2013-09-08 14:34:14 - notyou2: this one is yours
2013-09-08 15:35:32 - General Roy: Yes, it definitely looks that way.
2013-09-08 16:28:42 - General Roy: But we need some rounds more before it is over.
2013-09-08 16:29:25 - General Roy: Even though I have never played this map before as far as I can remember, it is quite similar to the Classic map, which I like.
2013-09-08 19:03:12 - notyou2: gg
2013-09-08 19:07:15 - General Roy: thanks. you too
2013-09-08 19:51:55 - General Roy: Sorry that I mislead you in the other game. I was only intending it as a friendly chat.
2013-09-08 19:52:43 - General Roy: Also, most often if one player gets ahead early on in the game, he usually gets a quite decisive advantage, since the bonus increases geometrically on that map.
2013-09-08 19:53:42 - General Roy: I, therefore, was surprised when you only got 14 troops also next round, as I thought you would jump ahead in that round after all.
2013-09-08 19:54:14 - General Roy: Anyway, thanks for the games. At least you managed a win in one of the games, so this wasn't totally onesided.
2013-09-08 19:54:39 - General Roy: On this map I had a definite advantage in that I got a bonus area from the start.
2013-09-08 19:54:50 - General Roy: Makes it hard to catch up.
2013-09-08 19:56:50 - General Roy: ----
2013-09-08 19:57:03 - General Roy: 1 area of yours that I have not yet found.
2013-09-08 19:57:25 - General Roy: Guess it must be on the south western coast then.
2013-09-08 20:50:55 - notyou2: I dont know the age of realms maps very well
2013-09-08 20:51:04 - notyou2: good series
2013-09-09 05:00:44 - General Roy: No, I realised that. The important point is to take villages and resource pairs.
2013-09-09 05:01:03 - General Roy: Each castle/village pair gives 1 troop.
2013-09-09 05:01:25 - General Roy: Each castle/resource pair and village/resource pair gives 3 troops.
2013-09-09 05:01:59 - General Roy: That means that for each village you get, you get 3 troops for each resource pair you have and 1 troop for each castle.
2013-09-09 05:04:14 - General Roy: So just collecting troops for later use (I got the impression that's what you had done) could be the road to disaster on the aor2 map.
2013-09-09 05:04:34 - General Roy: The other maps are a different story of course - I don't do them that well.
2013-09-09 23:25:30 - notyou2: Thanks for that :)
