2013-02-12 22:07:05 - H2over: b) A player (namely pink) who needs more time in SOC when it comes to escalating spoils - bonus monkey
2013-02-12 22:07:15 - H2over: and Green and yellow progressing through to the next round.
2013-02-12 22:07:16 - H2over: gg all
2013-02-13 01:01:43 - hoover22: GG. I agree I haven't spent a lot of time in SOC - H2over, mind explaining escalating spoils - bonus monkey?
2013-02-13 07:18:18 - shadistic: I find it curious that despite a player getting kicked out, you guys kept this up far longer than any other game in Round 1. I'm eager to see the competition that Round 2 brings.
2013-02-13 08:14:10 - Gemini_II: Yeah this was a long game, especially for escalating spoils. Thought I screwed myself the previous round, lol. :)
2013-02-13 08:18:41 - Gemini_II: It was fun though!
2013-02-13 08:21:42 - Gemini_II: hoover22: In escalating spoils games, region bonuses tend to be very minor. The main strategy is to have large stacks spread across the map in order to eliminate someone to get their cards. Most SOC games are ended by the first or second person to
2013-02-13 08:22:34 - Gemini_II: eliminate soemone. It steam-rolls pretty fast. A bonus monkey is when someone goes for region bonuses more than spoils :)
2013-02-13 14:46:05 - hoover22: Got it, thanks. It makes sense now that I lost and would have gotten 80 plus armies if I didn't have 4 cards and nothing to turn in :)
2013-02-13 15:59:36 - Gemini_II: No problem! I'd suggest joining a few SoC games; they have helped me so much! Hit me up if you need anything
