2012-07-26 03:24:38 - fcutter: gg. I'll be playing in my third tournament finals soon and fortunately it's not against you!
2012-07-26 03:33:49 - BluU: which tournament is it?
2012-07-26 03:38:58 - fcutter: 1v1 China
2012-07-26 03:39:15 - fcutter: I think you were eliminated in the quarters
2012-07-26 03:41:46 - fcutter: yup, I faced evilsemp instead of you.
2012-07-26 03:42:53 - BluU: so gl to you in that one
2012-07-26 03:43:32 - BluU: your 1st tourney win is always special
2012-07-26 03:44:37 - fcutter: Thanks. Are you familiar with this map? I suppose I ought to get better at the non-geographical maps-- just got killed on that boxer rebellion map, I had no idea what I was doing.
2012-07-26 03:45:00 - fcutter: I mean, I read the rules but it takes a few times through to get the hang of it.
2012-07-26 03:49:45 - BluU: with the map we are playing now, yes I'm familiar with it. I played a lot of 6 players games on it
2012-07-26 03:50:18 - BluU: you learn over time what are the advantages and disadvantages of each starting point
2012-07-26 03:51:46 - BluU: boxer rebellion? are you talking about the forbiden city map?
2012-07-26 03:51:53 - BluU: I hate this one
2012-07-26 03:52:01 - fcutter: I typically don't like non-geographical maps but I like this one. I had Rail Europe for the semis and enjoyed that too, but I think cornering England and Paris in the first three turns enhanced my enjoyment.
2012-07-26 03:52:01 - BluU: but I learned how to play it
2012-07-26 03:52:36 - BluU: I played a lot of random maps, it helps with mastering what ever you get
2012-07-26 03:52:41 - fcutter: yeah, forbidden city. Lots of non-adjacent areas attacking each other
2012-07-26 03:52:59 - BluU: I still have some maps I didn't figure out
2012-07-26 03:53:49 - BluU: if you don't use BOB in forbiden city, you get lost. Graphics is confusing there
2012-07-26 03:54:27 - fcutter: I think Monsters is my least favorite so far.
2012-07-26 03:54:47 - fcutter: sorry, what is BOB?
2012-07-26 03:55:16 - BluU: monsters is one I don't like too
2012-07-26 03:55:30 - BluU: BOB is a plugin that helps you read maps
2012-07-26 03:55:52 - BluU: it shows you the borders in much clearer way
2012-07-26 03:55:59 - BluU: let me look for the link
2012-07-26 03:56:09 - BluU: it works on firefox
2012-07-26 03:56:20 - fcutter: is it available on the forums?
2012-07-26 03:56:32 - fcutter: firefox, awesome, thank you!
2012-07-26 04:02:36 - BluU: posted the link on your wall
2012-07-26 04:03:39 - fcutter: Thanks for the link, much appreciated.
2012-07-26 04:05:21 - BluU: sorry for wasting time. I should have gone for sanctuary long ago
2012-07-26 04:07:35 - fcutter: there go my dreams of dragging this out to 30 rounds
