2012-07-14 05:21:37 - jonofperu: I have yet to grasp the strategy of this map. good games.

2012-07-14 06:36:09 - uckuki: this map requires different strategies, depending on type of games, settings and players. there's no 1 way to go about it.
2012-07-14 06:36:59 - uckuki: sometimes it's good to expand quickly (the other game), but not too quickly (this game). sometimes it pays off to wait.
2012-07-14 14:11:21 - jonofperu: There seems to be a fine balance between the scenarios that demand expanding and holing up. I'll have to do the math again because I keep getting surprised by people who holed up and somehow accumulated way more troops than I thought they should have.
2012-07-14 14:13:24 - jonofperu: I suppose you have to make sure that if you strike first you take a castle or make a significant dent in troop count or else you're just making yourself vulnerable. And I've guessed wrong when going after people with fog
2012-07-14 14:31:33 - uckuki: yep, there is no sure with strategy. waiting sometimes works, but not always. if the opponent(s) expand too much, juice up on village auto-deploy it's hard to cut them back.
