2012-06-07 15:26:17 - Tripitaka: Did I weaken you - Damn straight - no other way of getting ahead and winning the game, but even then you still had more territories than blue and you were in no danger of being taken out by him, so what exactly is your problem? My actions put me in the...
2012-06-07 15:28:06 - Tripitaka: lead and lessoned the threat from you, so your argument about weakening me as well as you and giving the advantage to blue is completely ridiculous!
2012-06-07 15:30:44 - Tripitaka: I don't blame you for running me back - like I said I expected it and unlike you I'm not complaining about it. Little surprised you would bother at this stage to take stacks to break a 3 bonus when the board has changed and blue is now the strongest....
2012-06-07 15:31:48 - Tripitaka: but hey that's your prerogative and I'm not going to critise you for having a different game style to myself.
2012-06-07 15:35:32 - Tripitaka: Shame you don't feel the smae way, rather than complaining about other people's actions when you yourself have been doing the basic same thing.
2012-06-07 16:08:21 - Didacus: can't we all.... just... get along?
2012-06-07 23:25:33 - mjs28: lol. you going in circles contradicting yourself
2012-06-08 15:24:17 - Tripitaka: How am I contradicting myself?
2012-06-08 15:26:04 - Tripitaka: And yes Didacus you would think it possible since this is after all just an internet game, where no one really gets hurt, but apparently some people take it way more seriously than others!
2012-06-08 23:23:49 - mjs28: by saying one thing and going another like you been doing all game.
2012-06-08 23:24:30 - mjs28: for example finally realising what you are doing is making blue stronger
2012-06-08 23:25:38 - mjs28: then taking a load more from the guy with least terts and bonus
2012-06-08 23:26:18 - mjs28: Na blue, nothing like a bit of CC banter.
2012-06-09 16:45:05 - Tripitaka: lol - All game eh? We didn't even start having this conversation until round 8, so even if what you say were true, which it isn't, I can hardly have been contradicting myself "all game". I haven't complained about your gameplay or you attacking me so
2012-06-09 16:45:16 - Tripitaka: where's the contradiction there?
2012-06-09 16:46:43 - Tripitaka: I don't deny blue is the strongest player now - but he certainly wasn't when you started this convo - infact he was the weakest and has only gotten ahead over the last 4 rounds or so, so where's the contradiction there?
2012-06-09 16:54:43 - Tripitaka: All I've tried to do is point out the irony of your statements - you complained about me attacking you and weakening us both, even though you had taken and continued to take just as many men from me but spread over more rounds and you continued to attack
2012-06-09 16:56:08 - Tripitaka: me regardless of whether I was still attacking you or not while blue grew stronger.
2012-06-09 16:57:14 - Tripitaka: No if I had complained about you attacking me and letting blue get stronger while I continued to attack you back, then yes I'd be contradicting myself (just like you are doing) but I haven't!
2012-06-09 17:02:10 - Tripitaka: You can attack who you like, you can play how you want, I don't care, just don't expect to spout a loud of crap about what my intentions are or twist my words because you lack basic comprehension skills and then expect me not to come back at you.
2012-06-09 19:10:54 - Didacus: ok gents, that's enough of that! Stop it or i'll slap you both!!!
2012-06-09 21:29:26 - mjs28: ok, if you want to split hairs since we started chat
2012-06-09 21:33:05 - mjs28: I have attackd you back but with far less troops, and in position where you gave me little choice which I have explained many times
2012-06-09 21:33:37 - mjs28: maybe you have a bit of comprehension probs, lol
2012-06-09 21:36:25 - mjs28: I now see your strategy is to leave let the weak player grow strong, so now it must be my turn
2012-06-09 21:37:11 - mjs28: I reckon you loving this blue, getting the game handed to you
2012-06-10 18:53:13 - Tripitaka: Make your mind up, first you're critising me for attacking the weakest player, next your saying that it's my strategy to leave them alone so they grow strong!
2012-06-10 19:00:14 - Tripitaka: And the snapshots that I've taken say differently about the number of troops you've taken from me. But as I've said repeatedly that's your choice, and if doing so weakens you all the more then you only have yourself to blame.
2012-06-10 22:44:12 - mjs28: there you go again, lol. yout too funny
2012-06-11 17:13:16 - Tripitaka: Thanks! But really it's so easy with you feeding me such great material to use! ;)
2012-06-11 22:44:10 - mjs28: its all you baby
2012-06-12 20:12:49 - Tripitaka: Hmm, guess my strategy wasn't as flawed as you seemed to think!
2012-06-12 20:13:05 - Tripitaka: Good game!
2012-06-12 21:33:45 - mjs28: gg
2012-06-12 22:29:33 - mjs28: im able to admit where im wrong, maybe your strat was good
2012-06-13 01:04:18 - mjs28: tell me, what was your strat there.
2012-06-13 01:04:45 - mjs28: looked to me you took me in west and blue in east and met in middle
2012-06-13 02:32:46 - Tripitaka: Nope, knew where all your men were and that apart from Zimbabwe I could get them all from Sudan working round to West and then up into Europe, so that's where I deployed everything to give me 292 troops there. Took Zimbabwe first and used what was left
2012-06-13 02:35:04 - Tripitaka: Along with the 50 I had on Kenya to clear blue out of Southern Africa. I was sure the 192 would be enough to take you out based on what I could see, but I like to use whatever stacks I have to weaken my target first, just to make sure, so then attacked
2012-06-13 02:38:18 - Tripitaka: from the 50 I had on Guineas, but had to go through a blue first to get to Niger Where I could knock your stack on Chad.
2012-06-13 02:42:12 - Tripitaka: That should read 292 troops not 192 - anyway took a few more blues with stacks that wouldn't be need to attack you just to make things neater and have a better idea how many trrops he had protecting his bonuses, then carried on attacking you from Sudan,
2012-06-13 02:44:44 - Tripitaka: taking what few blue had on Senegal - just to make it easier to clear him out of Africa once I'd eliminated you. That's how I play escalating - if I know I am going to take someone out and be able to roll one or more players afterwards I set myself up...
2012-06-13 02:45:32 - Tripitaka: before eliminating the first player - makes it far easier to know how many I am going to have to deploywhere, when I get to cash mid turn.
2012-06-13 02:48:05 - Tripitaka: Anyway once I'd taken France and Italy I could see your last three territories, so knew I could afford to go back to attacking blue as I had plenty of time and troops left to take you out. As I said cleared him out of most of Africa with the stacks
2012-06-13 02:53:26 - Tripitaka: I already had there, and hit his stacks on Moskva and Iran from those I had in Middle East. Then finished you off ending up on Poland. Wasn't sure I'd have enough to take blue as didn't know exactly how many troops he had, so had to send out a few
2012-06-13 02:55:58 - Tripitaka: feelers first, but after taking Moskva, iran and Pakistan, was confident I could finish him off - so used what remaining stacks I had in such a way as to maximise number of troops I could attack with, rather tahn attacking in a linear fashion and blocking
2012-06-13 02:56:02 - Tripitaka: myself in.
2012-06-13 02:56:34 - Tripitaka: Phew sure you didn't want quite a detailed explanation as that - but that's what you get for asking! :P
2012-06-13 09:49:00 - mjs28: ahh yes ok, in the last 4 rounds or so that is correct, but before my stacks in asia and russia were taken I dont think you had the eyes or troops to take me out
2012-06-13 09:49:11 - mjs28: what about before that?
