Just a opinion poll, it's okay if you are not a citizen of the UK and want to cast your vote but i based this thread primarily for citizens of the UK.

Gone with UKIP myself.
I want Britain to leave the USSE, and become the independent, free-trading and industrial pioneer that we once were. UKIP in my opinion is a means to an end - let's get out of the EU first, and then we can worry about the way forward, with a far lessened burden than we are carrying now.

If you dont believe that Griffin and the leadership of the BNP are Nazi/ Fascist then its you my friend who is the ignorant one. I am most certainly not a wishy washy Liberal, historicaly I have voted Tory and have some sympathy for the UKIP position, I also know the difference between Patriotism and Nationalism which you appear not quite to have grasped yet.

I'm disappointed to see as many as four votes for the BNP (or NF-
light, as I like to call them). That's almost as much as the average IQ of their members.
High levels of immigration is the price we pay, or indeed the debt we owe, for centuries of imperialism. That's not to say that we should have an open border policy, but rather to point out that we have no moral high ground on this issue. If we hadn't grown so rich by exploiting their mineral & agricultural resources, by conscripting, enlisting or enslaving their people, and if we hadn't imposed the English language on them, then the UK would not be as attractive a destination for economic migrants as it is today. Also, let's not forget that immigration was actively encouraged after the second world war to solve labour shortages, particularly in the healthcare sector.
British history is shaped by immigration. Each wave bringing with it new ideas, new technology, art, culture, skills. The largest immigrant population came here after the Romans left and brought with them violence, feudalism, paganism, arrogance and misguided feelings of superiority.

I didn't, went with SNP but may I ask what are your problems with labour specifally? I am still a wee bit on the fence. Being 18 I am not exactly deep into politics but as far as I see it peoples problems with labour are:
Iraq war- supported by Cameron etc.
Recent expenses scandal- nearly every party involved
Gordon Browns personality- Don't care.
Economic troubles- Wouldn't blame it on labour, considering its happening all over the world regardless of who is in charge.
I realise there may be many many more reasons but I am aiming this mostly at previus labour voters who are now switching away.

Very little, thankfully, since we abolished slavery in 1807.
Clearly, you misunderstood the point I was making. Britain generated a lot of wealth from its colonies and, as overlords, we kept all the profits. I'm not just talking about slaves here, there was also gold, silver, tea, sugar, tobacco, spices, rubber,
etc. On top of that we imposed British law and governance onto them, made English the official language, made them subjects of the Crown, and instilled in them the idea of
mother England (or at least tried to). Then, gradually, in the 20th century we started granting them independence and left them to fend for themselves. So, is it any wonder they want to live here now? They already speak our language, our standard of living is higher, our economy is stronger, our social equality provides quality, free healthcare & education for all and opportunities for the industrious (Mohammed Al Fayed or Lakshmi Mittal, for example) and many of them were
invited. Of course, I know that not all of our immigrant population originated from former colonies, but most of it did.
