Concise description:

show how much a player has risen/dropped on the scoreboard

Specifics:

if a player goes up 5 spots in a week, it says +5 on the scoreboard next to his name
(gets reset every week)

This will improve the following aspects of the site:

Wouldn't a month be a better timeframe? That way you're getting a wider range to show the trend.
