In this round, a point system will be used. You will randomly be paired with one other person to play a series of 2 player games(sequential, flat rate, chained, no fog). With your opponent, you will play a series of 5 games on different maps. Every map made by WidowMakers is eligible. Anything else is not. Those maps include: Canada (REVAMP), Circus Maximus (REVAMP), Conquer Man, Draknor – Level 1, Great Lakes, Indochina (REVAMP), King of the Mountains, Montreal (REVAMP), Rail USA, and 8 Thoughts. If you win 3 out of the 5, you earn a ‘bye’ for the second part. There will be 32 losers, and those 32 will do it again. The 16 losers will do it for the last time, and the 8 losers of that part are eliminated.

You will split into 14 groups of 4, randomly. You will then play 5 games, randomly taken from the North America region (Standard, Sequential, Escalating, Unlimited, No Fog). Points are awarded by place finish. See below. You will then get a new group and play 5 random games from the Asian region, and again with a different group from the European region. Scoring is as follows: 5 points for 1st place, 3 for 2nd, 2 for 3rd, and 0 for last. The 8 players with the least amount of points overall are eliminated.

First off, we will not be playing every map; it would take far too long. Instead, you will play on 10 different maps for each part. All settings will be Standard, Sequential, Escalating, Unlimited, Sunny. For each part you will get 5 games at a time. There will be 3 parts to this round. Part 1 will split you into 16 groups of 3. You will play the 10 maps, and you will accumulate a score (See below). For the second part, you will be given a new group. There will be 12 groups of 4. 10 different maps. For part 3, you will be split into 6 groups of 8. 10 different maps. Scoring: In 3 player games, the player coming in first will get 4 points, 2nd place gets 2, last place gets 0. In 4 player games, the 1st place gets 5 points, 2nd place gets 3, 3rd gets 2, last gets 0. In 8 player games, 1st place gets 10, 2nd place get 8, 3rd gets 7, 4th gets 5, 5th gets 4, 6th gets 3, 7th gets 1, last gets 0. After all 3 parts are done, the 8 players with the lowest score are out. Note: Total points count all 3 parts of this round.

Scoring is as follows: 3 points for winning the game, 1 point for eliminating someone from the game. The 8 players with the lowest score will be eliminated.

This part will use a point system. You will be split randomly into 8 groups of 4. With those 4 people, you will play 5 completely random games (Though always 4 players)—It can be any map, card, or fortification, and play order game. However, the game type will be limited to Standard and Terminator. When done once, it will be done once more. There will be no Fog used. Scoring: 1st place gets 5 points, 2nd gets 3, 3rd gets 2, last gets 0. The 8 players with the lowest score are out of the tournament.

For the first part, you’ll be randomly paired with a partner for an 8 player doubles game on Classic. (Doubles, Sequential, Escalating, Unlimited, Sunny.) Teammates will always be the same. Opponents will also be chosen at random. The winning team will earn a ‘bye’ for the rest of the round. Having a bye this round ensures you into the next round. The second part will have 3 games of 6 players. First place team earns a bye. The last part has 2 games of 6. Losers of the last game will be out of the tournament. Note: No singles games will be played like in Super Smash Bros. Singles League.

There will be 4 games of 4 people. All games here will be Standard, Sequential, Escalating, Chained, Sunny, Italy. The winners of those 4 games will elect a Captain and the Captain will choose 8 Black Spots. Everyone (minus the Spots and the Captain) will vote for who they want gone (Has to be a Black Spot). In the case of a tie, the Captain will decide who will get Cut Adrift. The 4 Black Spots with the most votes will be sent home. This will be done again, but the Captain (Who may change) will choose 6 Black Spots. The 4 with the most votes will be sent home.
