This tournament is open to all PREMIUM players who would like to join!
This tournament will start on January 10th if there are enough players. If not, then it will start on whatever day it fills up.
This will be a 1 v 1 tournament. For the schedule I'm going to use the full 2007-2008 AHL season. You need to pick a team from the list below, and provide a home map. All games will be sequential, flat rate cards, adjacent forts, with no fog of war.
The following maps are off-limits: Age of Merchants, AoR: Might, AoR: Magic, Chinese Checkers, Circus Maximus, Conquer Man, Pearl Harbor, Bamboo Jack, Doodle Earth, World 2.1, and Feudal War
The season will be 80 games long, followed by the playoffs. Each regular season win is worth 2 points, a loss is worth 0 points, and an overtime loss (loss from round 9 or further) is worth 1 point. The league is divided into two conferences, which are divided into 2 divisions. At the end of the season the top 4 teams for each division will qualify for the playoffs (16 teams in total). Note: if the #5 team from the Western Division has more points than the #4 team from the North Division, then they will take a spot in the playoffs. This is according to the current AHL playoff format.
The playoffs will be best of 7 series, on a 2-2-1-1-1 format, the higher seed getting home ice advantage.

5. If still tied, there will be a single elimination playoff on the Classic map. If there is a 3 way tie for 2 spots, there will be a 3 player game, winner advancing, followed by the remaining players playing a single game, winner taking the remaining spot.
Game Load:
I will be doing my best to create games on a regular basis (once per week at least). I will try to keep us at 4-5 games each time I make new games. However, be advised that sometimes there may be a short lull in new games as real life takes precedence. This tournament will feature over 1,160 games, so it takes some time to get it done right.
Calder Cup Champion:
There will be a reward for being crowned the Calder Cup Champion, but I am not sure yet what it will be. It will be determined at a later date, so keep your eyes peeled for what it may be.
Reserves:
I will be needing a list of reserves for this tournament as there are bound to be several dropouts. If you are willing to be available to take over a team if necessary please sign up as a reserve.
Other Information:
Please do not sign up unless you believe you will more than likely be able to finish the season. In a season type league such as the problems created by dropouts who get bored is a real hassle. Otherwise, enjoy!
