The only reason that the states are trying to turn Russia into a ally is so that if China ever went hostil, (They havent done one thing yet and allready cnn is paniking) With russia being closser to China than the US the americans can have a place to store weapons and tropps quietly before they take a offensive against China. I at least do not see China as A threat because they have there own issues to deal with, but if you go to China I would be willing to bet that there own version of cnn is broadcasting propaganda about the americans.

thats why I think the U.N was a bad idea because if one country attacs another then the whole freaking world is involved

I guess the world is escalating, once one set is cashed, the next set is even bigger.

Russia would love to see the USA destroyed. As would China. China, of the two is the bigger threat. Russia will head south toward Isreal...and finally be destroyed by China. Keep your friends close and your enimies even closer. Russia nor China are friends of the US.

Nations suck big time, especially big ones. Such large centralisation of power only ever leads to disasterous results.
Religion has nothing to do with it.
