In - edit profile - edit avatar

The button to upload an avatar is gone - since the rewind.

There is a wee arrow there, but clicking it does nothing.

I noticed my avatar was broken so I deleted it - which worked fine - but then the aforementioned, when I tried to upload it again.

I'm using a smartphone btw - tried the desktop browser setting and that also failed to resolve the issue.

Not a huge deal, just being helpful I am.

Update: The function has been restored - avatar successfully uploaded.

The upload avatar button is there, just can't be pressed

i have reinstalled mine uploading from machine but it only shows on my wall, old profile, mchat and forums. not on the new profile global chat or games. seems like we used to be able to upload from a host site like imgur?

Hey all, something is wrong with uploading GIF files for avatars. I use FF, but I also tried to fix my avatar issue in Chrome, and got the same message. Once you select the file to upload, then click the upload button the following error message occurs:

Could not upload the file. Possibly not a legal image file. Images must be square and PNG, JPG or GIF. Detected image size: 100x100.

I have cleared cache & all. Others are also encountering the same issues, and have posted in the "site lag issues" thread. Please fix this as my profile feels incomplete without my avatar. Thanks
