VDLL (13) vs OSA (28) - OSA Wins! - Final 12/28/17

Postby JBlombier on Sun Sep 24, 2017 4:13 pm

In 2011 a challenge led to one of the most suspenseful clanwars in the history of the VDLL. It was immediately clear that two evenly matched clans were playing an intense set of games, ultimately won by the VDLL with a score of 33 - 28. Now, 6 years later, it's time to see where we're standing.

As I said to benga, the VDLL hasn't changed much in strength or mentality, there has just been some change in members over the years. OSA, on the other hand, seems to have developed itself into a more powerful clan than it was in 2011. Is that true? I guess we're about to find out. Good luck to all players of both clans. We'll see each other on the battlefield!

How true as that may be (I don't know, yet... ;) ), in this case I screwed up and suggested a game schedule that couldn't be done in 41 games, so benga had to re-agree to the terms to get our privs.
Anyway, we're good to go somewhere between now and next month O:)

OSA is starting off great by taking the lead with some more victories to come. In the second and final batch we'll see what the VDLL can do to turn the tide. Some great games so far!

OSA has the victory in the bag, with a lot of games left to finish. I think we can conclude that OSA has indeed become a lot stronger than the VDLL has over the years. Congratulations!

I enjoyed the clanwar. Quite a few good games that could've gone either way were played. As we know now, these games mainly went your way, lol. Anyway, good sportmanship throughout the clanwar and a special thanks to benga for being patient with me.

Cya guys around on the battlefield!
