In this tournament players are assigned random teams (using random.org) and play on random maps. This structure is not new to CC, and I've enjoyed it the last time I played in a similar tournament, so decided to make one. The concept of not knowing what to expect but having to learn to play cooperatively with your teammates is exciting.
Players sign up individually and are later assigned random teams.
Tournament Settings:
Players: 32 (8 Quad teams) Map: Random Game Settings: Automatic, Sequential, Chained, Flat Rate, Sunny, NO Trench. To avoid very long games on large maps I will restrict the number of rounds to 30.
Round 1: 4 quad games. Each randomly assigned team plays against 1 other team chosen at random. The losing teams are eliminated. Round 2: The remaining 16 players are assigned new random teams, and 2 quad games are played. Losers eliminated again. Final: The remaining 8 players are randomly assigned teams again, and the final quad game is played. Winning team earns the title.
Can you handle a new team every round?
To sign up you must have at least a bronze teammate medal and 97% attendance or higher. Freemiums who meet these conditions are welcome.
