I agree - even over the short time I have been here I've seen an increase in professional play. Whilst a majority of newer players stick to the Sicilian Defense, very quickly they start to use a variety of openings from the Reti Opening to the Latvian Gambit. Whilst in some recent games I have seen what can only be described as a Wilkes-Barre Variaton on the Giuoco Piano.
Other than that, I've not seen many deadbeats, suiciders or silly alliances recently

You're taking the piss right? But, I think I would agree about the quality of play. I suppose the better and more advertised the site becomes, the better the players that join.
