maxi gets a premium membership, other wise f.o.b., you will need to fine a new partner.
It's only 1 game at a time. There is no reason to limit it to premium.
I beg to differ with you on this one Chap old pal. Keep in mind please that I am not trying to be hard headed about this, just communicating my thoughts on the matter at hand. If your ultimate ruling is that I must change my format, I will not make a big deal out of it here.
For your consideration:
- The entire point of this Tournament Series is that they are quick, expertly organized, and that they run very smoothly without any hassle for the players. I have gathered quite a loyal following that I believe wholly appreciates those facets of the series and plays continuously in them for those reasons.
- A non-premium member may usurp the tourneys' from their intent.
- It is my opinion that only premium members should be allowed to play tourney's anyway, in my mind it is a benefit and a feature of the site, therefore should be reserved for paying members of the site.....(I actually think there are a lot of cases where this should be the rules as there should be benefits reserved only for paying members, but that is a different animal and not for this forum.)
- Tournament rules only state that the tourney must be left 50% open for public sign-ups, which it is (they all are); and nothing about requiring non-premium members have access to any tournament. If you would like to create a discussion to amend the rules I would be happy to participate.
- 23 Tournaments prior to this one have all used the same language and there has not been an issue yet with the requirement.
- It's my tourney.
edit:
As it turns out f.o.b. listed his partner with an abbreviated form of his name. The actual players name is
maximegousse who is indeed a paying member, so we are all good as far as that goes.
