The Race Each round you will be paired up randomly in a 1v1 match. The winner gets points, the loser gets none. The number of points depends on how fast you win the game. After each round, I hand out points based on the median number of rounds finished. The first player to accumulate 20 points wins the tournament.
The Scoring Lose = 0 points Win = 1 point, plus 1 point for each round under the median.
Example: If 9 games were played, finishing in rounds 5, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 8, 10, 14 The median # of rounds is 8. Winning in 8+ rounds = 1 point Winning in 7 rounds = 2 points Winning in 6 rounds = 3 points Winning in 5 rounds = 4 points
If more than one player reaches 20 points in the same round of the tournament, the player with the most points wins. In case of a tie, a playoff match (best of 3) will be held.

The Maps The map for each round, like the matchups, will be chosen by random.org. The same map will be used for every match in the round. Only the maps below will be used. These were chosen because each player starts with 14 territories, which I believe gives optimum fairness in a 1v1 game.

The Fine Print Must have at least: -98% turns taken -4.5 rating -200 games completed Freemium allowed, but must keep 1 slot open at all times You have 48 hours to join your games. After that, I reserve the right to replace you in the tournament.
Dice stats are irrelevant. If I roll the same amount of 6's as everyone else, but my opponents role 6's at the same time, that's what matters, what's rolled opposite my dice. How about how many total guys I've won and lost while attacking?
